This study aims to analyze the educational and practical effects of a capstone design course involving Vietnamese international students, focusing on a case study of developing ready-made nail art tips using cultural convergence design. Recently, the nail art industry has been evolving in a direction that emphasizes convenience and practicality alongside changes in consumer lifestyles, leading to rapid growth in the market for ready-made nail art tips. This study developed nail art tips reflecting cultural elements through a capstone design course for Vietnamese international students and analyzed the results. The research methods utilized literature review, analysis of the design planning and production process, and analysis of the final product. The findings revealed that the nail art tips incorporating cultural convergence design demonstrated high design completeness and distinctiveness, while the capstone design course had a positive impact on enhancing students' practical competencies and creativity. This study is significant in that it presents a practical educational model applicable to nail art education and the industry.
