This study examines Psalm 94 from the perspectives of genre criticism and rhetorical criticism. Psalm 94 represents a paradigmatic example of a mixed genre, combining elements of lament and wisdom. This article argues that such generic complexity is not the accidental result of editorial activity but a deliberate literary strategy that reveals the progressive deepening of faith's understanding of suffering. Psalm 94 exhibits a chiastic structure centered on the beatitude section (vv. 12 —15)， with the declaration, “Blessed is the one whom you discipline^^ (vv. 12-13)，functioning as its theological and literary pivot. This central affirmation serves as the hermeneutical key to the psalm by redefining suffering not as a negative reality to be removed but as God's pedagogical means of instructing his people. In addition, literary devices such as repetition, parallelism, rhetorical questions, quoted speech, and the inclusio linking the petition for judgment (vv. 1 一2) with its fulfillment (vv. 22_ 23) consistently emphasize the themes of divine justice and God's sovereign rule. Rather than interrupting the sequence of the YHWH Kingship Psalms (Pss 93-100)， Psalm 94 deepens their theological message by compelling readers to confront the reality of injustice in the present. Accordingly, the psalm is best understood as a Wisdomized Lament, in which the experience of suffering is transformed into confident faith through wisdom reflection.

본 논문은 시편 M편을 장르비평(Genre Criticism)과 수사학적 비평(Rhetorical Criticism)의 관점에서 고찰한다. 시편 94편은 탄원시와 지혜시의 요소가 결합된 혼합 장르(Mixed Genre)의 전형적 사례로서, 본 연구는 이러한 장르적 복합성이 편집상의 우연한 결합이 아니라 고난에 대한 신앙적 이해가 점층적으로 심학되는 과정을 드러내는 의도적인 문학적 장치임을 논증한다. 시편 94편은 복 선언 단락(12-15절)의 중심인 “징계를 받는 자가 복이 있다”는 선언(12-13절)을 축으로 하는 교차대구 구조를 형성하며，이 중심축은 고난을 제거되어야 할 부정적 현실이 아니라 하나님의 교육적 과정으로 재정의하는 해석학적 기준점으로 기능한다. 또한 반복법，평행법，수사적 질문，인용학법，그리고 심판의 “요청”(1-2절)과 “성취”(22-23절)를 잇는 인클루지오는 하나님의 공의와 통치라는 중심 주제를 일관되게 부각시킨다. 결론적으로 시편 94편은 여호와 왕권 시편(시 93-W0편)의 흐름을 단절시키기보다 현실의 불의를 직시하게 함으로써 왕권 신학을 심학시키며，고난의 경험이 지혜적 성찰을 통해 신앙의 확신으로 전환되는 “지혜학된 탄원(Wisdomized Lament)”으로 재평가되어야 한다.
