This study aimed to identify the levels of self-directed learning ability, learning satisfaction, confidence in performing core nursing skills, and communication competence among senior nursing students, and to determine their influence on communication competence. The participants were 131 senior nursing students, and data were collected using structured questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-tests, one-way ANOVA with Scheffé’s test, Pearson’s correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis. The mean scores were 4.15±0.56 for self-directed learning ability, 4.42±0.64 for learning satisfaction, 4.52±0.56 for confidence in performing core nursing skills, and 4.02±0.41 for communication competence. Communication competence showed significant positive correlations with self-directed learning ability (r=.47, p=.007), learning satisfaction (r=.38, p<.001), and confidence in performing core nursing skills (r=.26, p=.002). Factors influencing communication competence were self-directed learning ability (β=.40, p<.001) and learning satisfaction (β=.29, p<.001), which together explained 29.0% of the variance. The findings of this study provide foundational data for developing educational programs to enhance communication competence among senior nursing students.

본 연구는 졸업학년 간호대학생의 자기주도학습능력, 학습만족도 및 핵심간호술 수행자신감이 의사소통능력에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 시도되었다. 연구대상은 졸업학년 간호대학생 131명이며, 구조화된 설문지를 사용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 자료분석은 기술통계, 독립 t검정, 일원분산분석과 Scheffe’s test, Pearson 상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 졸업학년 간호대학생의 자기주도학습능력은 4.15±0.56점, 학습만족도는 4.42±0.64점, 핵심간호술 수행자신감은 4.52±0.56점, 의사소통 능력은 4.02±0.41점으로 나타났다. 졸업학년 간호대학생의 의사소통능력은 자기주도학습(r=0.47, p=.007), 학습만족도(r=0.38, p<.001), 핵심간호술 수행자신감(r=0.26, p=.002)과 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 졸업학년 간호대학생의 의사소통 능력에 영향을 미치는 요인은 자기주도학습능력(β=.40, p<.001)과 학습만족도(β=.29, p<.001)로 나타났고, 설명력은 29.0%였다. 본 연구를 통해 졸업학년 간호대학생의 의사소통능력 향상을 위한 교육프로그램 개발을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.
