Nowadays, interdisciplinary research has become mainstream research in the scientific field. We learned that none of the existing things could survive nor develop without reciprocal relationships with others. Science can also develop in the same manner. In this 1st ICHJA conference, I would like to share two recent research topics: 1) the development of bone anabolic reagents in the basic study and 2) the happiness level-based cancer marker search in saliva to show that interdisciplinary research is a key to proceeding the medical and dental field of work.
