This study explores new possibilities for digital art makeup design by integrating the concept of dépaysement,a key technique in Surrealist aesthetics, with generative AI technology. The study analyzes the visual characteristics ofK-pop group aespa’s Savage and Girls albums, which represent a hybrid worldview of virtuality and reality. The formativefeatures of dépaysement were derived based on Suzi Gablik’s object combination framework. In addition, emotionalvocabulary was extracted through Focus Group Interviews (FGI) with 15 experts and the Semantic Differential (SD)method. Based on these findings, a structured text prompt for generative AI image creation was developed and applied toproduce digital art makeup images. The results show that Savage emphasizes surreal characteristics, such as objectisolation and transformation, while Girls highlights the combination of heterogeneous concepts and polarized meanings,reflecting a futuristic aesthetic. These findings suggest that integrating dépaysement with AI prompt design can expandnew expressive possibilities in digital beauty art. This study demonstrates the potential convergence of Surrealistaesthetics and AI technology and provides a foundational framework for future AI-based research and education in beautydesign.
