The purpose of this study is to examine how literature is changing in the era of generative artificial intelligence (AI) and to explore the significance of complex literature as a new cultural ecosystem. The theoretical framework of this study is based on Jean-François Lyotard's theory of postmodernism and the dissolution of genre boundaries, Roland Barthes' theory of image, and Jacques Derrida's theories of archive and mourning. This study employed both literature review and case analysis methods. Domestic and international academic papers, books, policy reports, and examples of AI-generated literature related to generative AI, literary-artistic convergence, arts education, literary museums, digital archives, and local cultural contents were collected and analyzed. The analysis focused on the collaborative structure between generative AI and human creativity, the educational and therapeutic expansion of artistic convergence, and the transformation of literary museums, digital archives, and local cultural contents into complex cultural platforms from the perspective of complex literature. The findings are as follows. First, generative AI functions not as a substitute for human creativity but as a collaborative tool that expands human imagination and the creative process. Second, contemporary literature has evolved into complex literature that transcends traditional genre boundaries through its integration with images, music, videos, spaces, and digital technologies, with Dica poetry emerging as a representative example of this transformation. Third, complex literature has extended its functions to arts education and therapeutic practices, demonstrating practical possibilities for enhancing human sensibility, creativity, and metacognitive abilities. Fourth, literary museums, digital archives, and local cultural contents, combined with generative AI and digital technologies, have shown the potential to reconstruct local memories and cultural resources into new narratives and cultural contents. This study is significant in that it understands literature in the era of generative AI not merely from the perspective of individual genres or technologies, but as a new cultural ecosystem in which literature, art, digital technologies, education, healing, archival culture, and local culture are organically interconnected.

본 연구의 목적은 생성형 AI 시대에 문학이 어떠한 방식으로 변화하고 있으며, 복합문학이 새로운 문화생태계로서 어떠한 의미를 지니는지를 고찰하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 리오타르의 포스트모더니즘과 장르 해체 이론, 바르트(Roland Barthes)의 이미지 이론, 데리다(Jacques Derrida)의 아카이브와 애도 이론을 이론적 토대로 삼았다. 연구 방법은 문헌연구와 사례분석을 병행하였으며, 생성형 AI와 문학, 예술융합, 문화예술교육, 문학관과 디지털 아카이브, 지역문화 콘텐츠와 관련된 국내외 학술논문, 단행본, 정책자료 및 생성문학 사례를 수집·분석하였다. 분석은 복합문학의 관점에서 생성형 AI와 인간 창작의 협력 구조, 예술 융합과 교육·치유적 확장, 문학관과 디지털 아카이브 및 지역문화 콘텐츠의 복합문화 플랫폼화 양상을 중심으로 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 생성형 AI는 인간의 창작을 대체하는 기술이 아니라 인간 의 상상력과 창작 과정을 확장하는 협력적 도구로 기능하고 있음을 확인하였다. 둘째, 현대 문학은 이미지, 음악, 영상, 공간, 디지털 기술 등과 결합하면서 장르의 경계를 넘어서는 복합문학으로 확장되고 있었으며, 디카시는 이러한 변 화의 대표적인 사례로 나타났다. 셋째, 복합문학은 문화예술교육과 치유 영역 으로까지 기능을 확장하며 인간의 감수성과 창의성, 메타인지 능력을 강화하는 실천적 가능성이 보였다. 넷째, 문학관과 디지털 아카이브, 지역문화 콘텐츠는 생성형 AI와 디지털 기술은 지역의 기억과 문화자원을 새로운 서사와 콘텐츠 로 재구성할 수 있는 가능성을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 생성형 AI 시대의 문학을 개별 장르나 기술의 차원이 아니라 문학과 예술, 디지털 기술, 교육, 치유, 기록문화, 지역문화가 유기적으로 연결되 는 새로운 문화생태계로 이해하였다는 점에서 의의를 지닌다.
