Background: This study aimed to analyze the relationships among MBTI-basedintroversion and extroversion tendencies, team activity preference, self-efficacy, cooperative value, satisfaction, and participation among dental hygiene students. Methods: This study was conducted on 42 dental hygiene students, and data from 37 students who responded to both pre- and post-team activity surveys were used for the final analysis. To form teams, MBTI introversion and extroversion were distinguished; teams were organized into two introverted groups, one extroverted group, and two mixed groups, after which team activities were conducted. Perceptions of team activities based on introversion and extroversion, cooperative value before and after team activities, and satisfaction and participation after team activities were investigated and analyzed using non-parametric statistical methods. Results: Regarding preference for team activities, the item “It is distressing to take classes with team projects” showed a significant difference between the two groups, with introverted individuals scoring 3.92 points and extroverted individuals scoring 2.64 points (p<0.05). In terms of self-efficacy, a significant difference was found for the item “My abilities will be effectively utilized when performing a project as a team member,” with introverted individuals scoring 2.73 points and extroverted individuals scoring 3.64 points (p<0.05). Regarding cooperative value, scores for the item “Team projects have a positive influence on the development of cooperative competency” increased from 3.54 to 4.15 points for introverted individuals and from 4.00 to 4.65 points for extroverted individuals after the team activities(p<0.05). Conclusion: Significant differences were found in participation in and satisfaction with team activities depending on learners’ introversion and extroversion tendencies. Accordingly, instructors should implement instructional designs that reflect individual learner characteristics, such as strategically forming teams based on similar tendencies according to course objectives and assigning roles suited to individual personality tendencies.

연구의 배경 및 목적: 일개 치위생학과 학생을 대상으로 MBTI의 외향성-내향성 지표를 고려한 팀 활동이 팀 활동 선호도, 자기효능감, 협동가치, 만족도 및 참여도에 어떠한 관련성이 있는지 분석하고자 수행되었다. 연구방법: 본 연구는 치위생학과 학생 42명을 대상으로 수행되었으며, 팀 활동 전·후 설문에 모두 응답한 37명의 자료를 최종 분석에 활용하였다. 팀 구성을 위하여 MBTI 내향형과 외향형을 구분하였고, 내향형 집단 2개, 외향형 집단 1개, 내향형과 외향형이 혼합된 집단 2개로 구성한 후 팀 활동을 하였다. 내향형 및 외향적에 따른팀 활동 인식도, 팀 활동 전과 후에 협동가치, 팀 활동 후에 만족도와 참여도를 조사하였으며 비모수 통계방법으로 분석하였다. 연구결과: 팀 활동 선호도에서 ‘팀플 활동이 있는 수업을 들을 때 괴롭다’는 문항은 내향적 성향인 경우 3.92점, 외향적 성향인 경우는 2.64점으로 두 그룹 간 유의한 차이가 나타났다(p＜0.05). 자기효능감에서는 ‘팀의 일원으로 프로젝트를 수행할 때 나의 능력이 효과적으로 발휘될 것이다’ 문항에서 내향적 성향은 2.73점, 외향적 성향은3.64점으로 유의한 차이가 있었다(p＜0.05). 협동가치 문항에서 ‘팀플이 협동역량 개발에 긍정적 영향을 미친다’는내향적 인 경우는 3.54점에서 4.15점으로, 외향적인 경우는 4.00점에서 4.65점으로 증가하였다(p＜0.05). 결론: 학습자의 내향적, 외향적 성향에 따라 팀 활동 참여와 만족도에 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이에따라 교수자는 수업 목적에 따라 융합형 또는 유사 성향 학생들의 팀 활동을 전략적으로 적용하고, 팀내에서 개인의 성향에 적합한 역할을 부여하는 등 학습자 특성을 반영한 교수학습설계를 수행할 필요가 있다.
