The historical landmarks in Pakistan are also an important constituent of the cultural heritage of the nation and are one of the main attractions of both domestic and international tourists. Understanding tourists’ perceptions of these attractions is important for enhancing heritage preservation and improving tourism products. This study reviews ten leading historical sites in Pakistan online reviews to identify the primary factors that influence tourists’ satisfaction and general experience. This study employs a big-data approach to identify patterns and recurring themes in tourists’ comments. Semantic network analysis and CONCOR clustering. The study found four major dimensions of perceptions, including Historical Significance, Site Quality, Tourists Experience, and Geographical Context. The frequent use of such words as place, visit, historical, Lahore, beauty and heritage is evidence of the emphasis given to cultural value and visuals by tourists. The outcomes of semantic network showed that there were robust associations among words associated with historical significance and entertainment. CONCOR clustering further divided the keywords into four specific themes that represented the interest of the tourists in history, the efforts made to preserve the place, emotional experiences, and the place. Generally, the analysis demonstrates that the local people really enjoy the profound cultural context and the quality of the on-site experience at the heritage sites in Pakistan. These observations can serve the heritage tourism sector and demonstrate the effectiveness of the analysis of online reviews in the identification of preferences and behavior of tourists.
