This study investigated the influence of emotional and charismatic leadership of adult ballet instructors on class engagement and class satisfaction. To this end, a survey was conducted with adult participants enrolled in private dance academies, and a total of 274 valid responses were used for the final analysis. The questionnaire consisted of 44 items covering personal characteristics, emotional leadership, charismatic leadership, class engagement, and class satisfaction. All variables were measured using a five-point Likert scale based on previous studies. Data were analyzed using SPSS through exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that both emotional and charismatic leadership had significant positive effects of class engagement and class satisfaction. In particular, differences were observed in the influence of each sub-factor of class immersion. In terms of class satisfaction, emotional leadership was found to have a relatively stronger influence. Therefore, this suggests that adult ballet instructors need to utilize leadership strategies that can enhance learners’ immersion and satisfaction when conducting classes.

본 연구는 성인발레 지도자의 감성적리더십과 카리스마리더십이 수업몰입과 수업만족도에 미치는 영향을 규명하였다. 이를 위해 사설 무용학원에서 수강 중인 성인 수강생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 274부의 설문지를 최종 분석에 활용하였다. 설문지는 개인적특성, 감성적리더십, 카리스마리더십, 수업몰입, 수업만족도에 관한 총 44문항으로 구성되었으며, 각 변수들은 선행연구를 바탕으로 5점 리커트 척도로 구성되었다. 자료는 SPSS 프로그램을 이용해 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 다중회귀분석을 통해 처리되었다. 연구결과, 감성적리더십과 카리스마리더십 모두 수업몰입과 수업만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 특히 수업몰입의 하위요인별 영향력에서 차이가 나타났으며, 수업만족도에서는 감성적리더십이 상대적으로 영향력이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 성인발레 지도자가 수업 운영 시 학습자의 몰입과 만족도를 향상시킬 수 있는 리더십 전략을 활용할 필요성이 있음을 시사한다.
