The purpose of this study is to explore the possibility of using artificial intelligence (AI) technology as an alternative to meet the individual needs of students with disabilities in the field of integrated education, and to derive implications for the Korean AI-based integrated education support model through overseas case analysis. By applying the qualitative case study method, 25 AI use cases in major countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, it was found that overseas, AI-based accessibility technology, social robots, and intelligent education plan (IEP) systems are simultaneously improving learning accessibility, social interaction, and administrative efficiency. Therefore, this study proposes the establishment of an intelligent IEP system, a digital cooperative teaching model using an AI assistant teacher, and strengthening teachers' AI literacy and ethical guidelines.

본 연구는 통합교육 현장에서 장애 학생의 개별적 요구를 충족하기 위한 대안으로 인공지능(AI) 기술의 활용 가능성을 탐색하고, 해외 사례 분석을 통해 한국형 AI 기반 통합교육 지원 모델의 시사점을 도출하는 데 목적이 있다. 질적 사례 연구 방법을 적용하여 미국, 영국, 유럽 등 주요 국가의 AI 활용 사례 25편을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 해외에서는 AI 기반 접근성 기술, 소셜 로봇, 지능형 IEP(Individualized Education Plan) 시스템을 통해 학습 접근성, 사회적 상호작용, 행정 효율성을 동시에 제고하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구는 지능형 IEP 시스템 구축, AI 보조교사를 활용한 디지털 협력교수 모델, 교사의 AI 리터러시 및 윤리 가이드라인 강화를 제언한다.
