This study was conducted to provide foundational data for enhancing the quality of life and promoting social integration among older adults by identifying factors affecting their difficulties in adapting to information and communication devices. The study utilized data from the 2023 Survey of Older Adults collected by the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs, and analyzed responses from 3,752 older adults using the SPSS 21.0 program. The results indicated that significant factors influencing difficulties in adapting to information devices among older adults were subjective health status (OR=3.16, p<.001), participation in leisure activities (OR=1.61, p=.004), participation in education and learning activities (OR=1.47, p=.018), use of leisure and cultural facilities (OR=0.75, p=.040), satisfaction with the community environment (OR=2.73, p<.001), and the number of electronic device-related activities (OR=0.29, p<.001). The model explained 17.0% of the variance (χ2=193.716, p<.001). These findings confirm the factors influencing older adults’ difficulties in adapting to information devices and suggest that an integrated approach involving policy development and educational programs is necessary to improve their adaptability to such devices.

본 연구는 노인을 대상으로 정보화기기 적응 어려움의 영향 요인을 파악함으로써 노인의 삶의 질 향상과 사회 통합을 실현시키기 위한 기초자료를 제공하기 위해 시도하였다. 본 연구는 한국보건사회연구원에서 수집한 2023년 노인실태조사 자료를 활용하여 노인 3,752명을 대상으로 spss 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구결과 노인의 정보화기기 적응 어려움에 영향을 미치는 영향 요인은 주관적 건강상태(OR=3.16, p=<.001), 여가활동여부(OR=1.61, p=.004), 교육 및 학습활동여부(OR=1.47, p=.018), 여가문화시설이용여부(OR=0.75, p=.040), 지역사회환경 만족도(OR=2.73, p=<.001), 전자기기 활동 수(OR=0.29, p<.001)로 유의하였고, 설명력은 17.0%로 나타났다(x2=193.716, p<.001). 따라서 노인의 정보화기기 적응 어려움에 영향요인을 확인하였고, 정보화기기 적응을 향상시킬수 있는 정책 개발과 교육 프로그램의 통합적인 접근이 필요하다
