Purpose : This study analyzes the export competitiveness of five Korean copyright industries in the United Kingdom and Vietnam markets over the period 2014–2024. Research design, data, methodology : To investigate the link between Hallyu consumption and copyright revenue, this study applies Shift-Share Analysis (SSA) and Regional Growth Rate Differential Analysis (RGRDA) models to official copyright trade data, integrated with insights from the 2025 Overseas Hallyu Survey. Results : Both markets exhibit high competitiveness in Computer Software and Databases, whereas Music/Video copyright underperforms (stagnant in the UK, declining in Vietnam). Notably, Vietnam's total growth effect is less than 1% of the UK's scale. Conclusions : To bridge the gap between Hallyu consumption and actual revenue, Korea must leverage its digital SW/DB strengths through market-specific policies addressing UK and Vietnam’s unique structural barriers.

본 연구는 2014년부터 2024년까지의 기간을 대상으로 영국과 베트남 시장에서 한국 저작권 산업 5개 업종의 수출 경쟁력 변동을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 저작권 산업의 무역 통계 자료를 기반으로 변이-할당분석과 성장률시차분석을 적용하였으며, 정량적 분석의 한계를 보완하기 위해 KOFICE(2025)의 ｢2025 해외한류실태조사｣ 자료를 결합하였다. 분석 결과, 영국 시장에서는 컴퓨터SW와 데이터베이스 저작권이 핵심 성장 동력으로 기능하는 반면, 음악·영상 저작권은 높은 한류 호감도와 성숙한 유료 플랫폼 환경에도 불구하고 침체산업으로 분류되었다. 베트남 시장은 전체 무역 규모가 제한적이나, 컴퓨터SW 저작권이 높은 경쟁력요인(RP: 1.464)을 나타내며 경쟁산업으로 도출된 반면, 음악·영상 저작권은 높은 한류 경험률에도 불구하고 사양 산업으로 판정되었다. 이러한 결과는 한국 저작권 수출 전략이 단순한 한류 확산을 넘어, 시장성숙도에 따른 차별화된 수익화 구조 개선과 디지털 권리화 체계 구축에 초점을 맞춰야 함을 시사한다.
