The inheritance and development of cultural society have become core issues in contemporary urban studies. Space is not only a physical carrier, but also a key field for cultural transmission and social interaction. The cultivation of urban vitality also depends on a scientific analysis of spatial structure. As an important tool for interpreting the internal relationship between spatial form and urban society, space syntax has shown increasing research value. In order to systematically review the research trajectory, hot topics, and evolutionary trends in the field of space syntax in China, this study uses CiteSpace 6.4.R2 and takes relevant literature published from 2004 to 2026 as the data source. Through visual analyses including keyword co-occurrence, cluster analysis, and burst detection, it reveals the current research status, major hot issues, and future development trends of space syntax studies in China in recent years. The results show that “space syntax,” with a high frequency of 439 occurrences and a centrality of 1.23, has become the core keyword in this field, while GIS, accessibility, spatial form, and spatial structure constitute the core associated thematic group. Research hotspots can be divided into ten significant clusters, covering diverse directions such as urban planning and management, traditional settlement conservation, and transportation network optimization, with good clustering performance. The evolution of research has gone through three stages: the introduction of theory and basic application, technological deepening and diversified expansion, and practice orientation with the emergence of new themes. In different periods, hotspot themes have shown clear shifts in response to policy orientation and technological development. Future research should strengthen the unification of technical standards, cross-scale linkage analysis, and the expansion into emerging fields, so as to promote the deep integration of space syntax theory and practice.

본 연구는 문화사회의 전승과 발전이 현대 도시 연구의 핵심 의제로 부상함에 따라, 공간이 단순한 물리적 담지체를 넘어 문화 전파와 사회적 교류의 핵심 장으로 기능하며, 도시 활력의 형성 또한 공간 구조에 대한 과학적 분석과 필연적으로 연계된다는 점에 주목하였다. 공간구문론(Space Syntax)은 공간 형태와 도시 사회 간의 내적 연관성을 해석하는 중요한 분석 도구로서 그 연구 가치가 점증하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 중국 공간구문론 분야의 연구 동향, 핵심 주제 및 발전 추이를 체계적으로 고찰하기 위해 CiteSpace 6.4.R2 소프트웨어를 활용하였다. 2004년부터 2026년까지 발표된 관련 연구 문헌을 데이터베이스로 구축하고, 키워드 동시출현 분석, 군집 분석, 돌출 키워드 분석 등의 시각화 분석 기법을 적용하여 중국 내 공간구문론 연구의 현황, 주요 쟁점 및 향후 발전 방향을 종합적으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과에 따르면, ‘공간구문론’은 총 439회의 출현 빈도와 1.23의 높은 중심성을 기록하며 해당 분야의 핵심 키워드로 자리매김하였으며, GIS, 접근성, 공간 형태, 공간 구조가 주요 연관 주제군을 형성하는 것으로 나타났다. 연구 핵심 주제는 도시계획 및 관리, 전통 취락 보존, 교통망 최적화 등 다양한 방향을 아우르는 총 10개의 주요 군집으로 분류되었으며, 군집의 적합성은 양호한 수준으로 확인되었다. 연구 발전 양상은 이론 도입 및 기초 응용 단계, 기술 심화 및 다원적 확장 단계, 실천 지향성 강화 및 신흥 주제 발현 단계의 세 시기로 구분되었으며, 각 시기별 주요 주제는 정책적 지향성과 기술적 발전 흐름에 따라 뚜렷한 이동 궤적을 보였다. 향후 연구는 기술 표준의 통일, 다중 스케일 연계 분석, 신흥 분야로의 확장을 강화함으로써 공간구문론 이론과 실천의 심층적 융합을 도모할 필요가 있다.
