This study reexamines the historical linguistic value of the Wolin corpus(월인류)—Wolinseokbo(월인석보), Wolin cheongang jigok(월인천강지곡), and Seokbosangjeol (석보상절)—in light of the 2022 Revised National Curriculum, and proposes ways to utilize these texts in Middle Korean education. Focusing on their dialogue- centered narrative structures, it emphasizes their pedagogical potential for presenting grammatical features within discourse contexts. The study reviews the current status of Middle Korean instruction in the “Common Korean II(공통국어2)” and “Speech and Language(화법과 언어)” domains, and identifies key instructional contents suited to the Wolin corpus, including Sino-Korean pronunciation, word formation and semantic change, hara-style interrogatives, and addressee honorifics. Based on explicit selection criteria, it presents representative textual scenes and instructional applications, suggesting a text-and discourse-based expansion of Middle Korean education.

본 논의는 2022 개정 교육과정에 근거하여 ｢월인석보｣․｢월인천강지곡｣․｢석보상절｣로 대표되는 ｢월인｣류 문헌의 국어사적 가치를 재조명하고, 이를 중세국어 교육에 효과적으로 활용할 수 있는 방안을 모색하는 데 목적을 두었다. 특히 이들 문헌이 대화 중심의 이야기 구조를 바탕으로 하고 있다는 점에 주목하여, 문법 요소의 실제 사용 양상을 담화 맥락 속에서 제시할 수 있다는 교육적 가능성을 강조하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 현행 교육과정의 ｢공통2｣와 ｢화언｣ 영역에 구현된 중세국어 교육의 현황을 검토하고, ｢월인｣류 문헌을 활용할 경우 교육 효과를 극대화할 수 있는 내용으로 한자음 표기법, 단어 형성 및 의미 변화, ᄒᆞ라체 의문 형식, 청자존대법을 선정하였다. 아울러 각 교육 내용에 적합한 장면을 선별하기 위한 기준을 마련하고, 그 기준에 따라 구체적인 문헌 자료와 활용 장면을 제시하였다.
