The crisis of preaching in the Korean church stems not from methodological deficiencies but from a structural theological misunderstanding of the relationship between Word and Spirit. This study diagnoses this crisis through the hermeneutical categories of per verbum, sine verbo, and cum verbo, offering a comparative analysis of the preaching models of Martyn Lloyd-Jones and John Stott. Lloyd-Jones conceives preaching as a Spirit-empowered event, emphasizing its transformative and dynamic character, yet risks individualistic tendencies. In contrast, Stott views preaching as an interpretive act that actualizes Scripture through public responsibility and application, though prone to reductionist explanation. From the Reformed cum verbo perspective, this paper reconstructs preaching as the inseparable unity of Word and Spirit, extending beyond individual transformation to communal formation and cosmic renewal as public witness to God’s Kingdom. Situated within the biblical movement of creation, redemption, and new creation, preaching emerges as a theological event bridging individual, church, and world through a cyclical structure of preparation, proclamation, and communal discernment. Ultimately, this study calls the Korean church toward an integrative pneumatological homiletics embracing personal, communal, and public dimensions, rooted in Trinitarian theology.

한국교회의 설교 위기는 방법론적 문제가 아니라 말씀과 성령의 관계를 신학적으로 오해한 구조적 문제에서 비롯된다. 본 연구는 이 위기를per verbum, sine verbo, cum verbo의 분류 틀로 분석하며, Martyn Lloyd-Jones와 John Stott의 설교 모델을 비교한다. Lloyd-Jones는설교를 성령이 능력으로 말씀을 실현하는 변혁적 사건으로 보아 동적변화를 강조하나, 개인주의적 한계를 보인다. 반면 Stott는 말씀을 해석·적용하는 공적 행위로 이해하나, 설명적 축소의 위험을 안고 있다. 이에 cum verbo의 통합적 관점에서 설교를 말씀과 성령의 불가분적통일로 재구성하며, 개인 변화를 넘어 공동체 형성과 창조 질서 회복으로 확장된 공적 증언으로 제안한다. 이는 한국교회가 삼위일체적 설교학으로 나아가는 길을 제시한다.
