This Study examined the cognitive and psychological factors infuencing performing arts students’ intention to use generative AI as a creative tool. Recently, generative AI has rapidly expanded as both a learning tool and a creative support system in higher education, particularly in the arts, where it plays a critical role in reshaping the relationship between creativity and technology. However, despite its potential to enhance learning efficiency and creative processes, concerns remain regarding overdependence on technology and the possible decline of human creativity. The results are as follows. First, AI literacy was found to have a significant positive effect on both perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. Second, psychological resistance had a significant negative effect on perceived usefulness, but it did not significantly affect intention to use. Third, perceived ease of use positively influenced perceived usefulness. Finally, both perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness had significant positive effects on intention to use. These findings suggest that enhancing AI literacy and reducing psychological resistance are essential for increasing performing arts students’intention to use generative AI as a creative tool, as they strengthen perceived ease of use and usefulness. Furthermore, educational approaches should focus on positioning generative AI not as a substitute for creativity but as a collaborative tool that expands creative processes. This study contributes academically by extending the TAM framework and empirically identifying the cognitive and psychological mechanisms underlying AI adoption in performing arts education, while also offering practical implications for the effective integration of AI in creative learning environments.

본 연구는 공연예술 전공 대학생들을 대상으로 창작 수단으로서 생성형 인공지능의 사용의도에 영향을 미치는 인지적, 심리적 요인을 살펴보았다. 연구대상은 공연예술 전공 대학생 189명이며, 설문조사를 통해 자료를 수집하고 경로분석을 활용하여 변수 간 인과관계를 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인공지능 리터러시는 지각된 용이성과 지각된 유용성에 모두 유의한 정적(+) 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 심리적 저항감은 지각된 유용성에 부적(-) 영향을 미쳤으나, 사용의도에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 지각된 용이성은 지각된 유용성에 정적(+) 영향을 미쳤으며, 넷째, 지각된 용이성과 지각된 유용성은 모두 사용의도에 정적(+) 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 공연예술 전공 대학생들이 생성형 인공지능을 창작 수단으로 활용하기 위해서는 인공지능 리터러시를 강화하고 심리적 저항감을 완화함으로써 지각된 용이성과 유용성을 높이는 것이 중요함을 시사한다. 또한 생성형 인공지능을 창의성을 대체하는 기술이 아닌 창작을 확장하는 협업 도구로 인식하도록 하는 교육적 접근이 필요하다. 본 연구는 기술수용모델의 확장을 통해 공연예술 분야에서 생성형 인공지능 수용의 인지적·심리적 메커니즘을 규명하였다는 점에서 학술적 의의를 가지며, 향후 예술교육 현장에서의 인공지능 활용 방향에 대한 실천적 시사점을 제공한다.
