This study aims to redefine leadership by applying Donald Schön's theory of reflective practice to organizational decision-making, specifically addressing the information overload characteristic of the artificial intelligence (AI) era. Through a systematic literature review and conceptual mapping, Schön's core concepts were extracted and aligned with key managerial keywords such as strategy and organizational learning to examine the structural relationship between reflective practice and corporate decision-making. The analysis reveals that the instrumental problem-solving approach of technical rationality closely parallels the efficiency-driven logic of contemporary AI algorithms, which poses risks of losing strategic direction and experiencing accelerated failures. To overcome these limitations, the study confirms that Schön’s core concepts—problem setting, reflection-in-action, and framing— must be closely integrated into the multifaceted decision-making process as essential leadership competencies. Consequently, based on these findings, this study proposes a reflective leadership framework that is operationalized through specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for practical application. This framework provides a robust theoretical foundation to assist chief decision-makers in maintaining autonomous and critical judgment amidst high uncertainty, while establishing a new human-centered operational paradigm.

본 연구는 인공지능 시대 기업 내 정보 과잉 환경에서 의사결정의 실효성을 제고하기 위해, 도널드 숀(D. Schön, 1930~1997)의 성찰적 실천 이론을 적용하여 리더십을 재정의한다. 이를 위해 체계적 문헌 연구를 수행하여 Schön (1983)의 핵심 개념을 추출하고, 이를 전략 및 조직 학습 등 주요 경영학적 키워드와 연계함으로써 성찰적 실천과 조직 의사결정 간의 구조적 연관성을 심층적으로 고찰하였다. 분석 결과, 기술적 합리성에 기반한 도구적 문제 해결 방식은 AI 알고리즘의 효율성 추구 논리와 결합하여 방향성 상실 및 실패 가속화 위험을 초래하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 한계를 극복하기 위해 Schön (1983)의 문제 설정, 행위 중 성찰, 프레이밍이 리더십의 핵심 역량으로 연결되어야 함을 확인하였다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 이러한 분석을 바탕으로, 구체적인 핵심 성과 지표(Key Performance Indicator: KPI)와 연계하여 실무에 적용할 수 있는 성찰적 리더십 프레임워크를 제안한다. 본 프레임워크는 고도의 불확실성 속에서 최고의사결정권자가 주체적이고 비판적인 판단력을 유지하며, 인간 중심의 새로운 조직 운영 패러다임을 구축하기 위한 굳건한 이론적 토대를 제공할 것이다.
