In recent years, brand strategies involving goods have evolved beyond simple product marketing and are increasingly recognized as strategic tools for creating and expanding brand experiences through consumer enjoyment and participation. Through goods, consumers form sensory, emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and relational value experiences, and these experiences repeatedly operate in everyday life, continuously shaping brand perceptions and relationship formation while holding the potential to connect with long-term brand assets. Accordingly, this study conducted a qualitative case study of SIMMONS, a mattress brand that has expanded consumer touchpoints through a wide range of goods despite operating in a high-involvement product category. The findings indicate that SIMMONS goods function not merely as individual products with functional value or short-term performance outcomes, but as experiential mediators that reinforce sensory experiences and emotional responses while facilitating the interpretation of brand meaning through processes of use, exposure, and sharing in everyday life. In addition, these goods-based experiences accumulate through repeated use and interaction, tending to strengthen brand associations, favorability, and relational perceptions. In particular, this study conceptually organizes how value experiences formed through goods overlap across sensory, emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and relational dimensions, and how they may connect to different types of brand asset effects in distinct ways. By reconceptualizing goods as a key mediator linking value experience formation and brand assets, and by exploratorily presenting the patterns and meanings of these connections through qualitative case analysis, this study offers theoretical extensions and practical implications for goods-based brand strategies.
