The purpose of this study is to explore the relationships between interpersonal competence, self-efficacy, and college life satisfaction among students participating in the Autonomous Major Selection System (AMSS), and to analyze the mediating effect of college life adjustment. To this end, a structural equation model was used to examine the relationships among observed variables, and bootstrapping was employed to test the mediating effect. The results indicated that interpersonal competence and college life adjustment had positive effects on college life satisfaction, while self-efficacy had a negative effect. Furthermore, college life adjustment was found to partially mediate the relationship between interpersonal competence, self-efficacy, and college life satisfaction. Based on these findings, the following implications are proposed. First, extracurricular programs and continuous monitoring and support are essential to facilitate the development of positive interpersonal relationships among students in the AMSS. Second, improving the learning environment, providing differentiated learning experiences, and offering programs that foster a sense of belonging are necessary to enhance college life satisfaction. Third, policies that support college life adjustment and opportunities for student engagement should be developed. This study is significant in that, based on the foregoing discussion, it derived important implications for enhancing the college life satisfaction of university students participating in the AMSS.

본 연구의 목적은 구조방정식 모델을 활용하여 전공자율선택제 참여 대학생의 대인관계 유능성 과 자기효능감, 대학생활 만족도 간의 관계를 분석하고, 대학생활 적응의 매개효과를 검증하여 전공 자율선택제 운영에 대한 시사점을 도출하는 것이다. 연구 결과 대학생활 만족도에 대하여 대인관계 유능성과 대학생활 적응은 정적 영향을 미치는 반면, 자기효능감은 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나 타났다. 또한, 측정변인 간의 관계에서 대학생활 적응은 부분매개효과를 나타냈다. 이상의 연구 결과 를 바탕으로 결론을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전공자율선택제 참여 대학생의 원만한 인간관계 형성을 지원하기 위한 비교과 프로그램과 지속적인 모니터링이 필요하다. 둘째, 자기효능감이 높고 학업성취가 우수한 학생들의 대학생활 만족도 향상을 위한 학습환경 개선과 차별화된 학습경험의 제공, 소속감 촉진 프로그램의 운영이 요구된다. 셋째, 대학생활 적응 지원을 위한 제도 확대와 다양 한 활동 경험의 제공이 필요하다. 본 연구는 이상의 논의를 바탕으로 전공자율선택제 참여 대학생 의 대학생활 만족을 위한 중요한 시사점을 도출하였다는데 그 의의가 있다.
