Purpose of the Study : The purpose of this study is to analyze international Christian alternative-school teachers’ perceptions of and needs for professional development. By considering the diverse educational purposes and operational models of international Christian alternative-education institutions, this study aims to propose directions for developing a Christian worldview?based professional development system that reflects the practical needs of teachers in the field. Research Methods : A survey was administered to 61 teachers from member and partner schools of the Korea International School Association between September 10 and October 30, 2025, and the results were analyzed. The research employed descriptive statistical analysis to examine teachers’ overall perceptions of professional development, and group comparisons were conducted by school type (international, alternative, or academy-based) and teaching experience to identify differences among groups. In addition, a key word analysis of open- ended responses was performed to supplement the quantitative results with qualitative insights. Conclusions and Recommendations : This study suggests first, depending on the operational model of institutions, a differentiated professional development system tailored to each school type is needed. Second, it is necessary to develop professional development programs that cultivate faith-informed teaching expertise. Third, professional development should be structured as a continuous and cyclical system, offering progression from foundational to advanced levels. Fourth, because school-level training alone can not address disparities in teacher professionalism, providing joint training programs and supporting teachers from similar institutional types in forming professional learning communities should be conducted.

연구 목적 : 본 연구의 목적은 국제형 기독대안학교 교사들의 직무연수에 대한 인식과 요구를 분석하여, 교육목적과 운영 형태에 유형별 차이가 있는 국제형 기독대안교육기관들의 상황과 현장 교사들의 실제적 필요를 반영한 기독교 세계관 기반의 연수체계 개발 방향을 제시하는 데 있다. 연구내용 및 방법 : 본 연구는 선행연구를 토대로 국제형 대안교육기관 기독교사의 직무연수 요구분석에 사용할 문항을 제작하였다. 이후 2025년 9월 10일부터 10월 30일까지 한국국제형대안교육연합(Korea International School Association) 소속 및 협력 학교 교사 61명을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하고 결과를 분석하였다. 연구 방법은 기술통계 분석을 통해 교사들의 연수 인식 전반을 파악하고, 교사 근무 학교 유형(국제형·대안형·학원형)과 교직 경력별 비교를 통해 집단 간 차이를 분석하였다. 아울러 주관식 응답 내용에 대한 키워드 분석을 통해 질적 통찰을 보완하였다. 결론 및 제언 : 본 연구가 직무연수에 대한 국제형 기독대안학교 교사의 요구 분석 결과를 근거로 제시한 연수체계 개발 방향은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 국제형 대안교육기관의 교사는 소속 기관의 운영 형태에 따라 요구 역량이 다르므로 근무 기관의 유형을 고려한 연수체계 개발이 요구된다. 둘째, 국제형 기독대안학교 교사의 기독교 세계관 통합 수업 연수 요구가 크다는 점에서 신앙적 교직 전문성을 키울 수 있는 연수체계 개발이 필요하다. 셋째, 교사의 교직 경력에 따라 연수 요구가 다르므로 교직 경력을 고려해 기초부터 심화 단계까지 연속성을 갖춘 지속형 순환형 체계로 개발해야 한다. 넷째, 개별 학교 단위의 연수만으로는 기관별 전문성 격차를 해소하기 어렵기에 공동연수를 제공하고, 이를 통해 근무 기관 유형이 비슷한 교사들이 교사학습공동체를 구성하도록 지원해야 한다.
