Purpose of the Study : The present study aims to explore a Christian educational understanding of humanity that can overcome the non-cooperative self regressing inward, by re-examining Christian anthropology and illuminating the principles of true humanity revealed in the Ten Commandments. Furthermore, it seeks to clarify the practical implications of such humanity in the context of Christian education. Research Methods : Based on a review of relevant literature, this study first identifies that, from the perspectives of the imago Dei, the Fall, and salvation, Christianity understands true humanity as existing in relational dependence on God and in communion with others. Second, it confirms that the characteristics of humanity revealed in the Ten Commandments also participate in divine freedom within God, thereby aiming toward a coexistential humanity in which God, humankind, and nature engage in loving fellowship. Third, the coexistential humanity presented in the Ten Commandments is characterized by three dimensions: the self of love that restores self-awareness through dependence on God; the self of generosity that lives toward others with a Consciousness of Otherness; and the responsible self that embraces ecological consciousness toward the natural world. Finally, grounded in these three dimensions of humanity, this study proposes the realization of virtue through love, generosity, and responsibility. Conclusions and Recommendations : The concept of humanity embodied in the Ten Commandments resists such exclusive dehumanization by awakening the essence of true humanness and calling for the restoration of community in which God, humanity, and nature coexist in peace ? a dimension long lost in human culture. It is anticipated that, based on this study, the results will contribute to practical domains such as restorative education, liberal education, civic education, character education, and ecological education.

연구 목적 : 본 연구는 기독교의 인간론을 재조명하는 가운데 십계명에 나타난 인간다움의 원리를 통해 자기 안으로 퇴행하는 비협력적 자아를 극복할 수 있는 기독교교육적 인간다움을 탐구하고 그것의 실천적 의미를 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 내용 및 방법 : 문헌 연구를 바탕으로 하는 본 연구는 첫째, 하나님의 형상, 타락, 구원의 관점에서 기독교는 하나님 의존을 통해 더불어 존재하는 것을 인간다움으로 인식한다는 사실을 규명한다. 둘째, 십계명에 나타난 인간다움의 특성도 하나님 안에서 신적 자유에 참여하므로 하나님-인간-자연이 사랑으로 교제하는 공존의 인간성을 지향한다는 사실을 확인한다. 셋째, 십계명에 나타난 공존의 인간성은 세 차원-하나님 의존을 통해 자기의식을 회복하는 사랑의 자아, 이웃을 향해 타자 의식으로 살아가는 베푸는 자아, 자연 세계를 향해 생태계 의식을 지닌 책임적 자아-으로 특징 지운다. 마지막으로 본 연구는 이 세 가지 인간성을 기초로 사랑하고, 베풀고, 책임을 감당하므로 덕을 실현할 것을 제안한다. 결론 및 제언 : 십계명에 나타난 인간다움은 배타적 비인간화에 대항하여 인간다움의 본질을 일깨우며 인류 문화가 잃어버린 하나님-인간-자연이 더불어 평화롭게 살아가는 공동체성의 회복을 촉구한다. 본 연구를 바탕으로 향후 회복적 교육, 교양교육, 시민교육, 성품교육, 생태교육과 같은 실제적 분야에서 활용되기를 기대한다.
