The selected content discusses the philosophical and spiritual concepts rooted in Korean tradition, particularly focusing on the ancient text known as Cheonbugyeong. It explores the origins of Korea's educational philosophy, which is based on the principle of 'Hongik Ingan,' meaning to broadly benefit humanity. According to the Samguk Yusa, Hwanung, a divine figure, descended to Earth to realize the dream of Jae-se I-hwa, which signifies the realization of harmony and enlightenment in the world. However, the fundamental origins of these ideas are not widely understood today. The text emphasizes that a nation that lives in accordance with the natural order and seeks to benefit its people possesses a profound philosophy. Cheonbugyeong, regarded as one of the oldest scriptures, has been transmitted exclusively within the Korean people. Its concise form, composed of 81 characters, makes its meaning challenging to interpret. Nonetheless, it contains the principles of cosmic creation and operation, illustrating the continuous cycle of the universe through the relationship between heaven, earth, and humanity. The scripture also reveals the true nature of humans, who embody the unity of heaven, earth, and humans, and emphasizes the importance of social responsibility in building a utopian society.

대한민국의 교육이념은 ‘홍익인간(弘益人間)’이다. 『삼국유사』에 따르면 환웅천왕은 ‘재세이화(在世理化)’의 꿈을 실현하기 위하여 삼위태백에 강림 하였다. 그런데 우리는 이러한 이념의 근원을 잘 알지 못하며 살아왔다. 자연의 이치를 따라서 살아가는 세상, 사람들을 이롭게 하는 세상을 추구하는 민족은 높은 철학을 가진 민족임이 틀림 없다. 『천부경』은 가장 오래된 경전으로 알려져 있고 우리 한민족에게만 전수되어 온 글이다. 수리적 차원에서 81자의 글자로 씌어져 있어 그 의미를 파악하기도 쉽지 않다. 그러나 천부경 속에는 우주의 창조와 운행 원리가 기록되어 있고 하늘과 땅과 사람의 관계 속에서 이 세상이 끊임없이 순환하는 과정을 알 수 있다. 그 과정에서 천지인이 합일하 는 인간의 참된 모습과 인간의 사회에 대한 사명감을 통해 지상낙원을 건설하 는 세상을 그려본다.
