This study aimed to analyze research trends in academic counseling programs for elementary school students and to suggest directions for future research. A total of 169 studies published between 2010 and 2022 were analyzed, including 68 journal articles and 101 master’s and doctoral theses. Analysis criteria included research sources, participants, research design, research type, program content, outcome variables, and data analysis methods. The results indicated that although research had been conducted steadily, the number of studies declined after 2017. Most studies focused on fifth- and sixth-grade or mixed-grade students and used quantitative designs with experimental and control groups. Programs typically involved small groups, short sessions, and emphasized learning strategies and skills. Academic achievement and self-directed learning were the most frequently examined outcomes. This study is significant in that it comprehensively presents the flow of research on academic counseling programs for elementary school students and provides basic data for future research.

본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 학생을 대상으로 한 학습 상담프로그램의 연구 동향을 분석하여 향후 연구 방향을 탐색하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 2010년부터 2022년까지 발표된 국내 학술지 논문 68편과 석ㆍ박사 학위논문 101편, 총 169편을 분석 대상으로 선정하여 분석 하였다. 분 석 결과, 초등학생들을 위한 국내 학습 상담프로그램 연구는 전반적으로 꾸준히 이루어졌으 나 2017년 이후 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 연구 출처는 학위논문의 비중이 높았으며, 연구 대 상은 5ㆍ6학년과 혼합 학년이 가장 많았다. 연구 설계는 실험ㆍ통제집단 사전ㆍ사후 설계가 주를 이루었고, 연구 유형은 양적 연구가 대부분이었다. 프로그램 운영은 5~10명 규모, 6~10회기, 회기당 45분 이하가 많았으며, 접근 방법은 학습 전략과 학습 기술 중심이었다. 주요 효과 변인은 학업성취와 자기주도학습이었다. 본 연구는 초등학교 학업 상담프로그램 연구의 흐름을 종합적으로 제시하고, 향후 연구를 위한 기초 자료를 제공한다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
