The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of judo community characteristics—reputation, social presence, enjoyment, interactivity, and social connectedness—on the intention to continue participation, as well as to verify the mediating effect of attachment in these relationships. To achieve this, survey data were collected from 192 users of judo communities located in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi-do, and Gyeongnam. Structural equation modeling and bootstrapping analyses were conducted. The results revealed the following: first, among the community characteristics, reputation, interactivity, and social connectedness had positive effects on attachment. Second, attachment had a positive influence on the intention to continue participation. Third, social connectedness showed a full mediating effect on the relationship between community characteristics and the intention to continue participation through attachment. These findings suggest that attachment plays a key role in linking community experiences with behavioral intentions, emphasizing the importance of strengthening relational experiences and emotional attachment within communities to ensure the stable growth of the judo field.

본 연구는 유도의 커뮤니티 특성(평판, 사회적 실재감, 즐거움, 상호작용성, 사회적 연결감)이 지속참여의도에 미치 는 영향과 이 관계에서 애착의 매개효과를 검증하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 서울, 인천, 경기, 경남 소재 유도 커뮤니티 이용자 192명의 설문을 활용하였으며, 구조방정식 모형과 부트스트래핑을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 커뮤니티 특성 중 평 판, 상호작용성, 사회적 연결감은 애착에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 애착은 지속참여의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 커뮤니티 특성 중 사회적 연결감은 애착을 매개로 지속참여의도에 영향을 미치는 완전매개효과가 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 애착이 커뮤니티 경험과 행동의도를 연결하는 주요 요인이며, 유도 종목의 안정적 저변확대를 위해 커뮤니티에서의 관계적 경험 및 정서적 애착 강화가 중요함을 시사한다.
