This study developed and validated a rubric-based performance assessment tool for the Startup Product Planning and Development course, which adopts a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach. Data were collected from 24 undergraduate students through checklists, structured surveys, and in-depth interviews. Reliability analyses demonstrated high internal consistency across four core competencies—self-directed learning, collaboration, problem-solving, and values/attitudes—with Cronbach’s α values ranging from 0.73 to 0.91. An exploratory factor analysis corroborated the suitability of the data (KMO = 0.82; Bartlett’s test of sphericity, p < 0.001), revealing three distinct factors that collectively accounted for 69% of the total variance, each exhibiting reliability coefficients above 0.85. Correlation and regression analyses indicated that problem-solving served as a key mediating variable linking self-directed learning, collaboration, and values/attitudes. Moreover, both students and instructors reported positive perceptions regarding the objectivity, usability, and feedback effectiveness of the assessment tool. The findings provide empirical evidence for the practical utility and scalability of rubric-based assessment in PBL-centered entrepreneurship education, thereby offering a robust foundation for competency-based curriculum design and evaluation.

본 연구는 「스타트업 제품 기획 및 개발」 교과목에서 문제해결학습(PBL) 기반 루브릭 수행평 가 도구를 개발하고, 그 신뢰도·타당성 및 교육적 효과를 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 대학생 24명 을 대상으로 체크리스트, 설문조사, 심층 인터뷰를 실시하여 자기주도성, 협업, 문제해결, 가치· 태도의 네 핵심 역량에 대해 Cronbach’s α .73~.91의 신뢰도를 확보하였다. 탐색적 요인분석 결과, KMO .82, Bartlett의 구형성 검정 p<.001로 적합성을 검증했으며, 3개 요인이 도출되어 누적 설명분산 69%, 요인별 신뢰도 .85 이상으로 나타났다. 상관 및 회귀분석에서는 문제해결능 력이 자기주도성, 협업, 가치·태도 간 관계에서 핵심 매개 역할을 수행함을 확인하였다. 학습자들 은 평가도구의 객관성, 활용성, 피드백의 유용성을 긍정적으로 인식하였고, 교수자 역시 공정성과 현장 적용 가능성을 높게 평가하였다. 본 연구 결과는 PBL 기반 창업교육에서 루브릭 수행평가 도구의 실용성과 확산 가능성을 실증하였으며, 역량 기반 교육과정 운영 및 개선을 위한 기초자 료로 활용될 수 있음을 시사한다.
