Various phenomena are emerging that are pushing the CIS(Commonwealth of Independent State) mission, conducted by the Korean Church for 34 years, into crisis. The first phenomenon driving the CIS mission into crisis is that the Korean Church's CIS mission policy and methods have focused excessively on church planting, failing to collaborate effectively with local churches. The second phenomenon is the failure to achieve mission localization due to missionaries' insufficient understanding of local culture. The third phenomenon is the absence of exit strategies among missionaries, preventing the healthy transition of mission field ministries and real estate assets. The purpose of this article is to examine the problems driving CIS missions into crisis and to propose mission policies and implementation methods to transform this crisis into an opportunity for effective CIS missions.

한국교회가 34년간 진행한 CIS(독립국가연합) 선교를 위기로 몰고 가 고 있는 현상들이 다양하게 나타나고 있다. CIS 선교를 위기로 몰고 가고 있는 첫 번째 현상은 한국교회 CIS 선교정책과 방법이 교회 개척에 치중 하며 현지교회들과 협력하지 못한 점이다. 두 번째 현상은 선교사들의 현 지 문화이해 부족으로 선교 현지화를 이루지 못한 점이다. 세 번째 현상은 선교사들의 출구전략 부재로 선교지 사역과 부동산이 건강하게 이양되지 못하고 있는 점이다. 이 글의 목적은 CIS 선교를 효율적으로 이루기 위해 CIS 선교를 위기로 몰아가고 있는 문제들을 살펴보고 위기를 기회로 변화 시키기 위한 선교정책과 실행방법을 제시하는 것이다
