This study aims to propose improvements to the practicum component of the certification program for drug prevention and rehabilitation specialists, introduced by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS), by analyzing participants' practicum experiences and instructors' evaluations of practicum implementation. To this end, semi-structured in-depth interviews were conducted with 10 instructors and 9 trainees in the drug prevention education instructor program. The collected data were analyzed using thematic analysis based on the method proposed by Braun et al. (2019). The analysis revealed several structural issues in the current practicum process, including insufficient practicum hours, a mismatch between practicum content and actual job duties, lack of attention to possible ethical concerns during practicum, and the absence of supervision and evaluation systems. While trainees in the drug prevention education instructor program expressed high satisfaction with lecture demonstrations and feedback activities, they pointed out the lack of pedagogical training, repetitive practicum structures, and unrealistic scheduling. Based on these findings, the study suggests the following improvements: establishing a practicum evaluation system, designing job-based practicum curricula, enhancing practicum accessibility, developing ethical guidelines for counseling practice, and introducing peer-based feedback structures. This study may serve as foundational data to enhance the practical implementation of policies aimed at training specialized personnel in the field of drug addiction.

본 연구는 식약처가 도입한 마약류 예방·재활 전문인력 인증제의 실습 참여 경험과 교수 자의 실습 운영에 대한 평가를 분석하여, 인증제 실습의 개선방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 인증제에 참여한 교수자 10명과 예방교육강사 교육생 9명을 대상으로 반구 조화된 심층 인터뷰를 실시하고, Braun 외(2019)의 주제 분석 방법을 적용하여 자료를 분석 하였다. 분석 결과, 현행 실습 과정은 실습 시간 부족, 실습 내용과 실제 직무의 불일치, 실습 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 윤리적 이슈 고려 미흡, 슈퍼비전 체계의 미비 및 평가체계 부재 등 다수의 구조적 문제점을 내포하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 예방교육강사의 경우 강의 시연과 피드백 활동에 대한 만족은 높았으나, 교수법 훈련 부족과 반복적 구성, 실습 일정의 비현실 성이 지적되었다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 실습 평가체계 도입, 직무 기반의 실습 설계, 실습 접 근성 확대, 교육과 상담 실습 윤리지침 마련, 동료 기반 피드백 구조 마련 등을 개선방안으로 제시하였다. 본 연구는 마약류 중독 분야 전문인력 양성 정책의 실행력을 높이는 데 기초 자 료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
