This study aims to empirically analyze the impact of an online music education program on the technical performance and aesthetic-emotional competence of vocal music learners, thereby identifying the educational effectiveness and potential of digital-based instruction. Amid the growing demand for online music education due to the expansion of non-face-to-face environments, empirical research remains limited on how online programs affect the holistic development of learners in vocal music, a field traditionally dominated by in-person instruction. To address this gap, this study examined the changes before and after participation in an online vocal education program and verified the relationship between technical performance and aesthetic-emotional competence through regression analysis. The results indicated statistically significant improvements in both technical skills such as vocalization, pitch accuracy, and breath control and aesthetic-emotional competencies, including musical expression, emotional conveyance, and interpretative ability. Notably, the regression analysis showed that technical performance had a positive effect on aesthetic-emotional competence, providing empirical support for the idea that functional training forms the foundation for emotional expressiveness in vocal education. This finding aligns with existing music education theories that emphasize the importance of integrated instructional design, rather than separating technical and emotional approaches. These results underscore the importance of developing curricula that integrate technical and emotional elements in future online music education programs and contribute to validating the potential and scalability of digital-based instructional methods across the broader field of arts education.

본 연구는 온라인 음악 교육 프로그램이 성악 학습자의 기술적 성과와 심미적 감성 역량에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석함으로써, 디지털 기반 교육의 교육적 효과성과 가능성을 규명하고자 하였다. 최근 비대면 환경의 확산과 함께 온라인 음악 교육의 수요가 급증하고 있는 가운데, 전통적으로 대면 교육이 중심이었던 성 악 교육에서 온라인 프로그램이 학습자의 전인적 성장에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대한 실증 연구는 여전히 제한적인 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 성악 학습자를 대 상으로 한 온라인 교육 프로그램 참여 전후의 변화 양상을 파악하고, 기술적 성과와 심미적 감성 역량 간의 관계를 회귀분석을 통해 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 프로그 램 참여 이후 학습자의 발성, 음정, 호흡 등의 기술적 능력뿐 아니라 음악적 표현력, 감정 전달력, 음악적 해석력 등 심미적 감성 역량이 통계적으로 유의하게 향상 되었음이 확인되었다. 특히 기술적 성과가 심미적 감성 역량에 정(+)의 영향을 미친다는 회귀분석 결과는, 성악 교육에서 기능적 훈련이 감성적 표현 능력의 기반 이 된다는 점을 실증적으로 뒷받침하는 것으로 해석할 수 있다. 이는 기술과 감성의 분리된 교육 접근이 아닌, 두 요소 간의 유기적 통합을 통한 교육 설계의 중요 성을 강조하는 기존 음악 교육 이론과도 부합한다. 특히 온라인 환경에서도 체계적인 교수 설계와 개별 피드백, 몰입 중심의 콘텐츠 제공이 효과적인 학습성과로 이어질 수 있음을 보여줌으로써, 향후 음악 교육 현장에서 온라인 프로그램을 보조적 수단을 넘어 독립적인 교육 방법으로 활용할 수 있는 기반을 제공한다.
