This study examines the transformation of Korean-Chinese poetry following the normalization of diplomatic relations between Korea and China in 1992. It aims to identify thematic changes, literary characteristics, and structural limitations, while also proposing directions for future development. The corpus consists of award-winning works published in Yanbian Literature and poems recognized by the Yun Dong-ju Literary Award, both of which serve as central platforms for Korean-Chinese literary production. Methodologically, the study adopts close reading and thematic classification, interpreted through the theoretical frameworks of ecocriticism, identity studies, and diaspora theory. The findings reveal three major tendencies in post-normalization poetry. First, ecological awareness becomes prominent, emphasizing coexistence, harmony, and ethical relations between humans and nature. Second, the idea of homeland emerges as an emotional symbol shaped by memory, kinship, and ethnic identity, functioning as a key site of diasporic belonging. Third, poets critically engage with social realities—such as cultural fragmentation, the decline of communal life, and the weakening of tradition—through existential reflection grounded in natural imagery. Despite these developments, structural challenges persist, including linguistic shifts, declining readership, reduced creative motivation, and the absence of a systematic critical framework. The study concludes that the sustainability of Korean-Chinese poetry depends on closer interaction between literary creation and criticism along with a renewed identity discourse within a broader diasporic context.

본 연구는 한중 수교 이후 중국 조선족 시문학의 변화 양상을 규명하고, 그 주제적 특성과 현 단계의 문제점을 분석함으로써 향후 발전 방향을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 대상은 중국 조선족 문학의 대표적 기관지인 『연변문학』 문학상과 윤동주문학상 시 부문 수상작으로 한정하였다. 연구 방법은 텍스 트 분석을 중심으로, 수상작의 내용·형식·표현 특성을 비교·범주화하고, 이를 생태주의·정체성·디아스포라 연구의 이론 틀에 근거하여 해석하였다. 분석 결과, 한중 수교 이후 조선족 시문학은 첫째, 자연을 매개로 인간과 자 연의 평등·조화·합일을 탐구하는 생태적 감수성을 형상화하였다. 둘째, ‘고향’은 혈연·기억·정체성이 교차하는 정서적 상징으로 나타나 치유와 정착의 공간으로 재의미화 되었다. 셋째, 현실 비판적 경향에서는 공동체 해체, 전통 상실, 사회 구조적 균열 등 조선족 사회 내부 문제를 성찰하는 동시에, 자연 사유를 통해 존재론적 의미와 삶의 방향을 탐색하는 특징을 보였다. 그러나 이러한 성과에도 불구하고 조선족 시문학은 언어 환경 변화, 창작 기 반 약화, 비평 체계 부재, 독자층 축소 등 구조적 한계를 내재하고 있다. 따라서 21세기 조선족 시문학의 지속 가능성을 위해서는 창작과 비평의 상호 보완적 발 전, 문학 생태 환경 조성, 그리고 정체성 담론의 재구성이 필수적으로 요구된다.
