This study aimed to examine the mediating roles of smartphone dependency and relational aggression in the relationship between adolescents’ perceived negative parenting behaviors and cyberbullying perpetration. Participants were middle school students who completed self-report questionnaires, and structural equation modeling was conducted to test correlations and mediation effects. Results showed that negative parenting, smartphone dependency, relational aggression, and cyberbullying were all positively correlated. Negative parenting indirectly influenced cyberbullying through smartphone dependency and relational aggression. In addition, a sequential double mediation was confirmed in which negative parenting increased smartphone dependency, which heightened relational aggression, leading to cyberbullying. These findings indicate that cyberbullying among adolescents is reinforced through complex processes triggered by negative parenting. In particular, smartphone dependency functions as a preceding factor that facilitates relational aggression.

본 연구는 중학생이 지각한 부모의 부정적 양육행동과 사이버불링 간의 관계에서 스마트폰 의존성과 관계 적 공격성의 매개효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구대상은 중학생을 표집하여 자기보고식 설문을 실시하 였으며, 구조방정식 모형을 통해 변인 간의 상관 및 매개효과를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 부모의 부정적 양육행 동, 스마트폰 의존성, 관계적 공격성, 사이버불링 간에는 모두 유의한 정적 상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 부모의 부정적 양육행동은 스마트폰 의존성과 관계적 공격성을 매개로 사이버불링 가해행동에 간접적 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인 되었다. 셋째, 스마트폰 의존성이 선행적으로 작동하고, 이후 관계적 공격성을 거쳐 사이버불링으로 이어지는 순차 적 이중매개효과가 검증되었다. 이러한 결과는 청소년의 사이버불링이 부모의 부정적 양육행동이 촉발한 스마트폰 의존과 관계적 공격성을 매개로 강화된다는 점을 보여주며, 예방과 개입에서도 다차원적 접근이 필요함을 시사한다.
