The Lausanne Movement has consistently facilitated issue networks on Creation Care and Business As Mission (BAM). This study seeks to explore the intersection of Creation Care and BAM by analyzing official documents of the Lausanne Movement alongside recent publications from BAM Global, and also examining case studies from four Korean BAM companies. In pursuit of this aim, Chapter 2 introduces the Creation Care network within the Lausanne Movement alongside the contours of the global BAM movement. Chapter 3 then interrogates the intersection of Creation Care and BAM by engaging recent documents produced by BAM Global. Building on this, Chapter 4 highlights case studies of Korean BAM companies related to Creation Care and BAM. Notably, BAM Global(the body that has taken leadership in advancing the Lausanne Movement’s BAM issue network) underscores, in line with Lausanne’s consistent emphasis on holistic mission, the indispensability of environmental stewardship, including care for ecosystems, resources, and climate, within the sphere of business. BAM Global advanced the cause further through its Wealth Creation Manifesto (2017) and its BAM and Creation Care Report Series (2022-2024). These documents frame Creation Care as a central mandate of holistic(spiritual, economic, social, and environmental) transformation. They intentionally connect Christian business activity with the vocation of creation care. This study also suggests Korean BAM cases related to Creation Care and BAM. Four BAM companies such as Goel Community, G Hands, Goodwill Store, and Love Re-Paper exemplify significant cases in which creation care has been embodied within BAM contexts, generating tangible expressions of holistic transformation. By situating these Korean cases within the broader convergence of the Lausanne Movement’s Creation Care network and the global BAM movement, this study illuminates the vital link between theology and practice. It is hoped that such reflection may provide the Korean Church and Christian in various workplaces with both a theological foundation and practical challenges for embracing the vocation of Creation Care.

국제 로잔운동은 1974년 이래 복음 전도와 사회 참여를 두 축으로 강조하며, 최근 들 어서는 창조세계 돌봄(Creation Care)과 BAM(Business As Mission) 관련 이슈 네트 워크를 촉진해 왔다. 본 연구는 국제 로잔운동의 공식 문서와 BAM 글로벌의 최근 문헌을 중심으로 두 흐름의 교차 지점을 고찰하고 이에 관한 한국교회 BAM 현장 사 례를 조명함으로서, 신학과 실천 사이의 연속성을 탐구하는 데 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적에 따라 연구자는 2장을 통해 국제 로잔운동에서 펼쳐온 창조세계 돌봄 네트워크 와 글로벌 BAM 운동을 소개하고, 3장을 통해 BAM 글로벌의 최근 문헌을 통해 창 조세계 돌봄과 BAM의 교차지점을 고찰한다. 나아가 4장에서는 지난 19년 동안 한국 교회 BAM 운동을 이끌어온 IBA의 동역 단체들이 직접 창조세계 돌봄과 BAM을 비 즈니스 현장에 적용해 온 기업 사례들을 조명한다. 특히, 3장을 보면 로잔운동의 BAM 이슈 네트워크를 주도해 온 BAM 글로벌은 로잔운동이 지속적으로 강조해 온 총체적 선교 맥락에 따라 비즈니스 영역 역시 자연환경, 자원, 기후 등에 대한 돌봄이 중요함을 역설한다. 2017년 ‘부의 창출 선언문’과 2022년부터 3년간 정리해 온 ‘BAM과 창조세계 돌봄 보고서’를 통해 창조세계 돌봄을 영적, 사회적, 경제적, 환경적 차원 을 아우르는 총체적 변혁의 핵심 과제로 제시한다. 이들 문헌은 크리스천의 비즈니스 활동을 창조세계 돌봄의 사명과 연결시킨다. BAM 기업들이 환경 문제 해결의 주체 가 되어야 함을 주장하며, 동시에 실천 가능한 방법론을 제공한다. 4장에서 연구자는 창조세계 돌봄과 BAM의 교차 지점에 위치한 한국교회 BAM 기업 사례들을 제시한 다. 고엘공동체, 지핸즈, 굿윌스토어, 러블리페이퍼는 각자의 BAM 현장에서 창조세계 돌봄을 실천하며 총체적 변혁을 만들어 온 의미 있는 사례들이다. 본 연구는 국제 로 잔운동이 촉진한 창조세계 돌봄 네트워크와 글로벌 BAM 운동의 교차 지점을 조명하 고 한국교회 기업 사례들을 소개하는 가운데 신학과 실천의 연계를 조명하는 연구로 서, 연구가 한국교회와 일터 크리스천들에게 창조세계 돌봄의 사명을 감당하는 데에 필요한 나름의 신학적 토대와 실천적 도전이 되길 기대한다.
