The purpose of this study was to verify the construct validity of the Parenting Attitude Scale of the Integrated Evaluation Parenting Attitude–Stress Test (IE-PAS) by conducting factor analyses of its seven subscales, and to provide basic data for establishing higher-order factors. Data were collected from a standardized sample of 1,241 parents with children aged 3 to 16, and analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and R version 4.4.2. Results from the exploratory factor analysis revealed two factors: positive parenting attitude (autonomy, warmth, rationality) and negative parenting attitude (indifference, inconsistency, rejection, control). The confirmatory factor analysis further demonstrated that the two-factor structure showed acceptable parsimony and model fit. This study is significant in that it explored and confirmed the factor structure inherent in the IE-PAS, thereby supporting its applicability in clinical and counseling settings.

이 연구는 통합적 양육태도-스트레스 검사(IE-PAS)의 양육태도 척도의 7개의 하위척도 점수를 요인분석 하여 구성타당도를 검증하고, 상위척도를 구성하기 위한 기초 자료를 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 만 3세에서 16세의 자녀를 둔 부모들이 평정한 IE-PAS의 표준화 표본 1,241명의 자료를 SPSS 23.0과 R version 4.4.2로 분석하였다. 탐색적 요인분석을 실시한 결과 긍정적 양 육태도(자율성, 온정, 합리)와 부정적 양육태도(무관심, 비일관성, 거부, 통제)라는 2개의 요인 이 도출되었고, 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과 2요인 구조의 간명도와 적합도가 양호한 것 으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 IE-PAS에 내재되어 있는 척도의 요인 구조를 탐색하고 확인하여 임상 및 상담 현장에서 활용 가능하도록 하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
