This study examined the moderating effect of ethical climate on the relationship between reciprocity and ethical nursing competency among clinical nurses. The participants were 133 nurses from C Province. Data were collected through a self-report questionnaire from May 13 to August 31, 2024. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, t-tests, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and hierarchical regression. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that reciprocity, ethical climate, and marital status of the subjects were factors that influence ethical nursing competency. The moderating effect of ethical climate on the relationship between reciprocity and ethical nursing competency was confirmed. These findings suggest the need for education and support programs that promote reciprocity and positive interactions among colleagues to enhance ethical nursing competency. Additionally, it was suggested that it is important to strengthen the ethical culture at the hospital and establish a support system.

본 연구는 간호사의 호혜성과 윤리적 간호역량 간의 관계에서 윤리적 풍토의 조절효과를 검증하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구참여자는 C도 소재 종합병원에 근무 중인 간호사 133명이었으며, 자료수집은 2024년 5월 13일부터 8월 31일까지 자가 보고식 설문조사로 시행되었다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, 위계적 regression로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 대상자의 호혜성, 윤리적 풍토, 기혼이 윤리적 간호역량에 영향을 주는 요인으로 확인 되었다. 그리고 호혜성과 윤리적 간호역량 간의 관계에서 윤리적 풍토는 조절변수로 확인되었다. 본 연구결과는 윤리적 간호 역량 향상을 위해 간호사의 호혜성을 강화하고 동료 간 바람직한 상호작용을 위한 교육 및 지원 프로그램이 필요함을 제시하 였다. 그리고 조직 차원의 윤리문화 강화와 지원체계 구축이 중요함을 제시하였다.
