This study proposes an enhanced evaluation framework that more accurately assesses the competitiveness of biotechnology products by incorporating the concept of a "Killer Page" into the existing KIAT STBR (Technology, Marketability, Business Feasibility, and Technology Management Capability) model. This addition aims to refine the assessment of market fit and commercialization potential. To achieve this, the study employs the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to collect insights from seven biotechnology investors and analyzes industry-specific weightings and detailed evaluation criteria. The analysis reveals that in the biopharmaceutical industry, R&D capabilities and technological feasibility are the most critical factors, whereas marketability and business feasibility are relatively more important in the bio-chemicals and bio-energy sectors. Furthermore, the inclusion of the "Killer Page" concept enables the evaluation of a technology’s "immediate market need" and "early revenue generation potential," addressing gaps in traditional technology-focused assessment models that often overlook practical market competitiveness. This study contributes to the biotechnology industry by presenting a competitive evaluation model that aligns technological innovation with market demands, thereby assisting investors and companies in making more balanced and informed decisions.

본 연구는 바이오 기술제품의 경쟁력을 보다 현실적으로 평가하기 위해, 기존 KIAT STBR(기술성·시장성·사업성·기술경영 역량) 모형에 킬러페이지(Killer Page) 개념을 추가하여 시장 적합성과 사업화 가능성을 한층 정밀하게 반영하는 평가 체계를 제안하였다. 이를 위해 AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) 기법을 활용해 바이오 분야 투자자 7인의 의견을 취합하였으며, 산업군별 가중치와 세부 평가 항목을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 바이오의약 산업은 연구개발 역량과 기술성이, 바이오 화학·에너지는 시장성과 사업성이 상대적으로 중요한 요소로 나타났다. 또한 킬러페이지 개념을 적용한 항목을 통해 기술의 “즉각적 시장 필요성”과 “조기 수익 창출 가능성”을 평가함으로써, 기존 기술 중심 평가 체계에서 놓치기 쉬운 실질적 시장 경쟁력을 보완할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 바이오산업에서 기술적 혁신과 동시에 시장 요구에 부합하는 경쟁력 평가 모델을 제시함으로써, 투자자와 기업이 보다 균형 있는 의사결정을 내릴 수 있도록 돕는다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
