- This study aims to examine the relationship between resilience and career identity and to identify the mediating effect of major satisfaction. Data were collected from November 1 to 30, 2024, and the participants were 140 third- and fourth-year nursing students from two universities located in Chung-buk. The resilience, major satisfaction, and career identity level of the study participants were measured, and the mediating effect of major satisfaction was analyzed in the correlation between these variables and the relationship between resilience and career identity. The collected data were collected through a self-written questionnaire, and the collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, regression analysis, and mediating effect verification methods. The results showed that major satisfaction partially mediated the relationship between resilience and career identity. Based on the results of this study, it is suggested to develop curricular and extracurricular programs to enhance the resilience and major satisfaction of nursing students and to conduct further research to verify their effectiveness.
