This study identified the characteristics of the Jugan Sohaksaeng that was published by the Joseon Children’s Culture Association immediately during the liberation period, which is the very first magazine targeting elementary school students, by analyzing its transition aspect in the title logo format, thereby examining its value as a resource in connection with other systems in addition to the situation of the time, the publishing environment, the educational system. The Jugan Sohaksaeng was founded in February 1946 with Yun Seok-jung as editor-in-chief, and had been published every Monday as a whole in the form of a B5 size, consisting of 12 pages. The magazine featured not only the title logo but also the bibliographic information related to the magazine’s publication on top of the first page, but this format had changed over time. Through the format and transition aspects in the title logo, it was revealed that the publishing environment and book distribution system, as well as the prevailing circumstances and various systems and legislation related to publishing at the time the magazine was published, were considerably poor. Moreover, the Jugan Sohaksaeng was distributed through schools, and it was identified that the magazine was influential enough to be used as a textbook for Korean language education for children.

이 연구는 해방기에 조선아동문화협회에서 발행한 해방 직후 최초의 어린이잡지인 ｢주간소학생｣을 대상으로 잡지의 서지기술 형식의 변화양상 분석을 통해 잡지의 특징을 확인하고, 이를 통해 당시 시대상황, 출판환경과 교육제도를 비롯한 각종 제도와 결부하여 자료적 가치를 검토한 것이다. ｢주간소학생｣은 윤석중을 주간으로 하여 1946년 2월에 창간하였으며, 대체로 매주 월요일마다 12면으로 구성하여 B5판의 형태로 발행되었다. 잡지 1면 상단에는 타이틀 로고와 잡지의 서지사항으로 구성되어 일정한 서지기술 형식을 갖추었는데 이는 시기에 따라 변화하였다. 잡지의 서지기술 형식에 대한 변화양상을 통해 잡지가 발행되었던 당시의 시대상황 및 출판 관련 각종 법령과 제도를 비롯하여 출판환경 및 도서 유통체계가 상당히 열악하였음을 확인하였다. 또한 ｢주간소학생｣은 학교를 통해 보급되었으며 어린이를 위한 국어교육을 위한 교재로서 사용될 정도로 영향력 있는 잡지임을 알 수 있었다.
