The purpose of this study is to examine whether the experiences of community participation activities of individuals have a moderating effect on the factors of psychological and policy environments that influence the employment of people with disabilities. The analysis data for the study was obtained from the 8th Panel Survey on Employment for People with Disabilities by the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled (2023), and the subjects of the analysis were selected from 1,967 employed individuals. Frequency analysis was conducted to understand the distribution of the general characteristics among the variables and the factors affecting employment from the psychological and policy environments. Correlation analysis was performed to assess the degree of correlation between the variables. Additionally, regression analysis was conducted to investigate the moderating effects of community participation activities on the factors influencing employment from the general characteristics, psychological environment, and policy environment. The analysis results showed that in relation to the general characteristics, the employment rate and employment outcomes were higher among men with physical disabilities that are not severe, in their 40s, and with a high school diploma or higher. The regression analysis indicated that the psychological environment affects the increase in employment for people with disabilities, and among the policy environment factors, only the employment services for people with disabilities influence the increase in employment. Community participation activities were found to only affect the increase in employment through psychological environment factors. Therefore, it is suggested that to expand the employment of individuals in the market for people with disabilities, opportunities for self-development for people with disabilities should be guaranteed, publicity for employment, vocational training services, and employment services for people with disabilities should be strengthened, and sufficient opportunities for leisure and various social participation activities should be provided.

이 논문은 장애인의 심리환경과 정책환경 요인이 장애인의 고용에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지를 분석하기 위한 연구이다. 또한, 장애인의 지역사회참여활동 경험이 어떻게 조절 효과로 나타나 장 애인의 고용에 영향을 미치는지를 분석하기 위해 연구가 수행되었다. 본 연구를 위한 분석자료는 한국 장애인고용공단 고용개발원(2023)의 「제8차 장애인고용패널조사」자료를 이용하여 장애인 취업자 1,967명을 연구 대상으로 선정하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일반적인 특성과 관 련하여 40대 연령층, 고졸 이상 학력 보유 집단, 장애 정도가 심하지 않은 신체 내부 장애를 가진 남성 장애인의 취업률과 고용 성과가 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 심리환경은 장애인 고용 증가에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 정책환경 가운데 장애인 고용서비스 요인이 장애인 고용 증가에 영향을 미치는 것으 로 나타났다. 셋째, 심리환경 요인이 장애인 고용 증가에 미치는 영향 과정에서 지역사회참여활동이 증 가할수록 조절효과가 크게 나타나 장애인 고용 증가에 미치는 영향이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 근거로 장애인 고용 확대를 위해 다음과 같은 시사점을 제시하였다. 첫째, 장 애인의 자기 계발 기회가 보장되는 정책 마련 필요성을 시사하고 있다. 둘째, 장애인 고용⋅직업훈련 서비스 및 장애인 고용서비스에 대한 홍보 강화 중요성을 시사하고 있다. 셋째, 장애인의 여가 및 다양 한 지역사회참여활동 기회 제공을 위한 제도 마련 필요성을 시사하고 있다.
