The lifelong ritual is a ritual that all humans, including Korean learners, signify important moments in life from birth to death. Korean lifelong rituals include 100 days after birth, 1st birthday, adult rituals, weddings, 60th birthday, 70th birthday, funeral, and ancestral rituals. Through the learning of Korean lifelong rituals, Korean language learners can deepen their understanding of important moments in life experienced by the Korean cultural community. The presence of lifelong rituals can expand Korean cultural knowledge in abundance. Ultimately, Korean language learners can develop mutual cultural skills through comparison between their own nations’ cultural lifelong rituals and Korean lifelong rituals. This study examines the cultural and educational value of Korean lifelong rituals, and analyzes the method of presenting lifelong rituals by dividing them into content, language, assignments and activities, and illustrations for a total of 20 Korean textbooks. As a result, various lifelong rituals such as 100 days, 1st birthday, 60th birthday, adult rituals, weddings, and funerals were presented in textbooks, but "Jesa" was not presented, and the other presented lifelong rituals were dealted in terms of vocabularies or materials, indicating that the meaning and value of the lifelong rituals were not properly utilized. Therefore, this study proposes a direction for using lifelong rituals in Korean cultural education from an intercultural perspective. This study is meaningful in that it explores the possibility of more active use of Korean lifelong rituals in Korean cultural education from an intercultural perspective.

한국어

일생의례는 한국어 학습자를 비롯한 모든 인간이 출생에서 죽음까지 삶의 중요한 순간을 의미화하는 의례이다. 한국 일생의례에는 백일, 돌, 성인례, 혼인, 환갑, 칠순, 장 례, 제사가 포함된다. 한국 일생의례 학습을 통해 한국어 학습자들은 한국 문화 공동체 가 경험하는 인생의 중요한 순간에 대한 이해를 깊이 할 수 있다. 또한 일생의례의 현 재성은 한국 문화 지식을 풍부하게 확장시킬 수 있다. 궁극적으로 한국어 학습자들은 자문화 일생의례와 한국 일생의례의 비교를 통해 상호문화능력을 신장시킬 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 한국 일생의례의 문화 교육적 가치를 살펴보고, 한국어 교재 총 5종 20 권을 대상으로 일생의례 제시 방식을 내용, 언어, 과제 및 활동, 삽화의 범주로 구분하 여 분석했다. 그 결과 백일, 돌, 환갑, 성년례, 결혼식, 장례식 등 다양한 일생의례가 교 재에 두루 제시되었으나 ‘제사’는 제시되지 않았고, 제시된 일생의례도 단순히 어휘나 소재로만 제시되어 일생의례로서의 의미와 가치가 충분히 활용되지 못한 부분이 나타 났다. 이에 본 연구는 상호문화적 관점에서 일생의례를 한국 문화 교육에 활용하기 위 한 방향성을 제안하였다. 본 연구는 한국 일생의례를 상호문화적 관점에서 한국 문화 교육에 더욱 적극적으로 활용할 가능성을 타진하였다는 데 의의가 있다.
