This study applies the SBM-Malmquist model to measure changes in efficiency and productivity of ICT firms selected as high-growth in 2015, using panel data from 2015–2019. The analysis results showed that high-growth ICT companies’ productivity declined during the analysis period, and this decline in productivity was attributed to both technical efficiency and technical change. Additionally, it was found that technical efficiency was more influenced by net efficiency than scale efficiency. Therefore, to strengthen the competitiveness of high-growth ICT companies in the future, efforts will be needed to improve operational inefficiencies by efficiently utilizing resources. Finally, it is imperative to provide policy support to strengthen technological innovation capabilities and facilitate technological advancement through efficient R&D investments and structural improvements to industries.

본 연구는 국내 ICT기업이 ‘고성장기업’으로 선정된 이후의 효율성 및 생산성 변화를 SBM-Malmquist 모형을 활용하여 측정하고, 고성장 ICT기업의 생산효율성 제고를 위한 시사점을 제 시하고자 하였다. 실증분석을 위해 2015년도에 선정된 ICT기업의 5년(2015~2019년)간의 패널자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 고성장 ICT기업의 생산성은 분석기간 동안 전반적으로 하락했으며 이는 기술적 효율성과 기술변화 모두에 기인한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 기술적 효율성 하락은 규모 효율성보다 순수효율성의 영향에 의한 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 향후 고성장 ICT기업의 경쟁력 강 화를 위해서는 자원의 효율적 활용을 통한 운영상의 비효율성 개선이 필요하다. 또한, 효율적인 R&D 투자와 산업구조 고도화를 통해 기술혁신 역량을 강화하고 기술 발전을 촉진하기 위한 정책적 지원이 요구된다.
