This study examined the differences in the selection attributes that women’s hospital inpatients consider important when choosing a hospital and their satisfaction after using the hospital through IPA analysis. Using the following research methodology, we assessed the impact of these selection attributes on the intention to continue the relationship and obtained the following findings. On the one hand, the items analyzed as being of high importance and high satisfaction were ‘ examination room', 'sick room', ‘travel distance’, ‘hospital staff image’, ‘hospital staff response service’, ‘hospital staff work processing ability’, ‘professional counseling of doctors/nurses’, ‘professional knowledge and skills of doctors/nurses’, ‘medical staff’s external reputation’ etc., and ‘hospital size’, and these items should be continuously maintained and strengthened. On the other hand, the items ‘reservation system’ and ‘parking facilities’ had high importance but very low satisfaction, and thus were judged to be items that should be focused on improving in the future.

본 연구는 여성전문병원 입원환자가 병원을 선택할 때 중요하게 생각하는 선택속성과 병원 이용 후 만족도 차이를 IPA 분석을 통해 파악하고, 이 선택 속성이 관계지속의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 다음과 같은 연구 결과를 얻었다. 먼저 높은 중요도를 나타내고 만족도 또한 높은 것으로 분석된 항목은 ‘병원 실내 인테리어’, ‘병원실내 쾌적함’, ‘병원 대기공간, 화장실 등’, ‘진 료실, 검사실, 병실 등의 공간’, ‘이동거리’, ‘병원 종사자의 이미지’, ‘병원 종사자의 응대 서비스’, ‘병원 종사자의 업무처리 능력’, ‘의사/간호인력의 전문적 상담’, ‘의사/간호인력의 전문 지식과 기술’, ‘병원의 대외적 명성’, ‘의료진의 대외적 명성’, ‘병원 위치’, ‘병원 규 모’로 분석되었으며, 지속적으로 유지, 강화시켜 주어야 한다. 반면, ‘예약 시스템’, ‘주차시 설’항목은 중요도는 높으나, 만족도는 매우 낮은 특성을 보여 이후 중점적으로 개선되어야 할 항목 들로 판단된다.
