This article analyzes what meaning is created in the dimension of narrative and sensation when the drama structure and the real-time media environment are combined, targeting Lee Yun-chang’s webtoon “Nature Man”. “Nature Man” takes the past and present, reality and virtual, image and event segments as a starting point, but explores new narrative possibilities at the point where these elements are disturbed and intersected. In particular, the emergence of new media called real-time broadcasting allows the image in creation, that is, the image that changes and responds, not a fixed image, to reconstruct reality, and at the same time, it shows the process of revealing time itself in real-time. In this process, the reader is no longer an external observer, but a subject who actively intervenes in the making of the world by participating in the discourse inside the play. Therefore, the structure of the play within “Nature Man” and the aspect of media transformation can be understood as an ethical practice to readjust existence and image, memory and time, and even life and persistence.

이 글은 이윤창의 웹툰 <네이처맨>을 대상으로, 극중극 구조와 리얼타임 미디어 환경이 결합할 때 서사와 감각의 차원에서 어떤 의미가 생성되 는지를 분석한다. <네이처맨>은 과거와 현재, 현실과 가상, 이미지와 사 건의 분절을 출발점으로 삼되, 이러한 요소들이 교란되고 교차하는 지점 에서 새로운 서사적 가능성을 탐색한다. 특히 실시간 방송이라는 뉴미디 어의 출현은 고정된 이미지가 아닌 생성 중인 이미지, 즉 변화하고 반응 하는 이미지가 현실을 재구성하도록 하며, 동시에 시간 그 자체를 리얼타 임으로 드러내는 과정을 보여준다. 이 과정에서 독자는 더 이상 외부의 관찰자가 아니라 극 내부의 담론에 참여함으로써 세계 만들기에 능동적 으로 개입하는 주체가 된다. 따라서 <네이처맨>의 극중극 구조와 미디어 전환의 양상은 존재와 이미지, 기억과 시간, 나아가 생명과 지속의 문제 를 재조정하려는 윤리적 실천으로 이해될 수 있다.
