This study investigated issues within Korea’s national sports instructor qualification system, including employment differences, job roles, remuneration, fieldwork competencies, and supply-demand imbalances. Using Focus Group Interviews and in-depth interviews, the study aimed to provide foundational data for improving the grading framework. Findings revealed four key concerns: (1) insufficient differentiation in employment opportunities across qualification levels, requiring clearer role definitions; (2) gaps between qualification levels and practical field competencies, calling for stronger field-oriented training; (3) inadequacies in compensation structures, highlighting the need for a systematic remuneration framework; and (4) regional imbalances in instructor supply and demand, emphasizing the importance of localized strategies.

본 연구 목적은 국가 체육지도자 자격급수에 따른 취업 차이, 직책과 보수의 차이, 현장실무 및 능력 차이, 지도자 수급 불균형에 대한 문제 점을 진단하고 이에 따른 개선점을 도출하고자 하였으며, 체육지도자 자 격제도 자격급수에 관한 기초자료를 제공하는 목적으로 수행되었다. 연 구방법은 FGI와 심층면담 기법을 활용하였으며, 결론은 아래와 같다. 첫째, 급수에 따른 취업 시 차별성 부족에 따른 명확한 역할 및 기준 설정, 둘째, 급수에 따른 현장 역량 불일치에 따른 실무중심의 연수 강 화, 셋째, 급수에 따른 보상체계 미흡에 따른 보상체계 구축, 넷째, 급수에 따른 지도자 수급 불균형에 따른 지역별 수급 전략 도입으로 나타났다.
