This study focuses on the preservation and development of Peking Opera, specifically The White Snake (Bai She Zhuan), a traditional Chinese opera. Peking Opera is a comprehensive art form combining vocal music, dance, acting, and martial arts, but it has seen a decline in interest among younger generations in the face of modernization. Consequently, this study emphasizes the role of educational institutions in the preservation of Peking Opera. To achieve this goal, the research will collect and analyze various literature sources, including academic journals, related papers, books, and musical scores from both Korea and China. Through this analysis, the study aims to explore the historical background, key characteristics, and educational value of Peking Opera. The findings will propose practical measures for the protection and inheritance of traditional arts and contribute to the promotion of cultural diversity.

본 연구는 중국의 전통 경극인 <백사전>을 중심으로 경극 예술의 보존과 발전에 관한 연구 이다. 경극은 성악, 무용, 연기, 무술을 결합한 종합 예술로 현대화 속에서 젊은 세대의 관심 이 감소하고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 경극 보존을 위한 교육 기관의 역할을 강조하고자 한다. 이와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위해 본 연구는 한국과 중국의 학술지, 관련 논문, 도서, 악보 등 각종 문헌 자료를 수집하고 분석 연구를 통해 경극의 역사적 배경, 주요 특징, 교육 적 가치를 탐구하고자 한다. 연구 결과는 전통 예술 보호와 계승에 대한 실천적 방안을 제시 하며, 문화적 다양성 증진에 기여할 것이다.
