Objective: This study aimed to identify research trends in mental health interventions for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) through a bibliometric analysis. Methods: Literature published between 2014 and 2024 was collected from the Web of Science database, and analyses of countries/institutions, journals, authors, keywords, and clusters were conducted using VOSviewer. Results: A total of 2,569 publications were identified, with a significant surge in publications in 2021. The field of psychiatry showed the most active research output, with the United States and the United Kingdom leading in terms of the number of publications, citations, and connectivity strength. Co-occurrence keyword analysis identified 10 clusters: neuroscience, interventions, psychology and cognition, parents’ mental health, genetics, comorbidities, social interaction and communication, screening and assessment, psychometrics, and psychoeducation. Conclusion: This study provides a macro-level perspective on the connectivity and flow of literature on mental health interventions for children with ASD over the past decade. These findings are expected to serve as foundational data for domestic researchers in developing research directions and interventions for occupational therapy targeting the mental health of children with ASD.

목적 : 본 연구는 자폐 스펙트럼 장애 아동의 정신건강 중재에 대한 연구 동향을 계량서지학 분석을 통해 파악하였다. 연구방법 : Web of Science 데이터베이스를 활용하여 2014년부터 2024년까지 게재된 문헌을 수집하였으며, VOSviewer를 활용하여 국가/기관, 학술지, 저자, 키워드 및 클러스터 분석을 실시하였다. 결과 : 최종 2,569개의 출판물이 검색되었고, 2021년에 출판물의 수가 급증하며 가장 많은 문헌이 출판되었다. 정신의학 분야에서 연구가 가장 활발히 이루어졌고, 미국과 영국은 높은 문헌의 수, 인용 횟수, 연결 강도로 선두를 차지하였다. 총 10개 키워드의 동시 출현 분석 결과, 신경과학, 중재, 심리 및 인지, 사회적 지지, 유전, 동반 질환, 사회성 및 의사소통, 진단 및 평가, 심리측정, 심리교육이 포함되었다. 결론 : 본 연구는 최근 10년간 자폐 스펙트럼 장애 아동의 정신건강 중재에 대한 문헌 간 연결성 및 흐름을 거시적 관점에서 객관적으로 파악하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 이를 통해 국내 연구자들이 자폐 스펙트럼 장애 아동의 정신건강 작업치료 연구 방향과 중재 개발에 있어 유용한 기초자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.
