The purpose of this study is to verify the effectiveness of SW education programs after developing and applying them to adolescents living in probation offices after being judged as the 6th protection disposition of the juvenile protection trial. In this study, SW education has begun in earnest in schools after the revised curriculum in 2015, but the development and research of SW education programs in education fields such as probation offices are insufficient. However, it is clear that high-quality SW education is also needed for adolescents classified as high-risk, such as adolescents at probation offices. In this study, the 8th SW education program is designed and applied under two themes: game program coding and data analysis. In the study, the problem-solving ability, self-efficacy, and interest in SW education of adolescents at the probation office before and after the program is applied are evaluated through pre-test and post-test. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that the SW education program developed and applied in this study is effective in the problem-solving ability, self-efficacy, and interest in SW education of adolescents at the probation office. These results show that they can be used as useful data for developing SW education programs for adolescents at probation offices. In addition, the results of this study can be used to develop SW education programs for adolescents living in shelters such as juvenile centers and juvenile prisons, and have significance for expanding educational research for adolescents in special environments.

본 연구는 소년보호재판의 보호처분 6호 판정을 받고 보호관찰소에서 생활 중인 청소년들을 대상으로 SW교 육 프로그램을 개발하고 적용한 후, 그 효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이 연구는 2015년 개정 교육과정 이후 학교에서 SW교육이 본격화되었지만, 보호관찰소와 같은 교육 현장에서의 SW교육 프로그램 개발과 연구는 부족한 상황이다. 그러나 보호관찰소 청소년과 같이 고위험도로 분류되는 청소년들에게도 질 좋은 SW교육이 필 요하다는 것은 분명하다. 이 연구에서는 8차시의 SW교육 프로그램을 게임 프로그램 코딩과 데이터 분석이라는 두 가지 주제로 설계하고 적용한다. 연구에서는 프로그램 적용 전과 후에 보호관찰소 청소년들의 문제해결력, 자기효능감, SW교육 흥미도를 사전 검사와 사후 검사를 통해 평가한다. 연구 결과, 본 연구에서 개발 및 적용한 SW교육 프로그램이 보호관찰소 청소년들의 문제해결력, 자기효능감, SW교육 흥미도에 효과가 있음을 확인하였 다. 이러한 결과는 보호관찰소 청소년들을 대상으로 한 SW교육 프로그램 개발에 유용한 자료로 활용될 수 있음 을 보여준다. 또한, 소년원과 소년교도소와 같은 보호시설에서 생활하는 청소년들을 대상으로 한 SW교육 프로 그램 개발에도 이 연구 결과가 활용될 수 있으며, 특수한 환경에서의 청소년들을 대상으로 한 교육 연구 확대를 위한 의의를 가진다.
