The 2022 curriculum, shaped by the COVID-19 pandemic and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, underscores the importance of digital literacy and information education. However, a clear disconnect between elementary and middle school curricula highlights fragmentation within the system. This study delves into the 2022 curriculum's achievement standards, identifies gaps between elementary and middle school content, and suggests a more integrated approach. Key findings indicate: 1) a lack of unified content elements for information education across school levels, 2) a necessity for integrating information education objectives in elementary practical subjects, 3) a missing link in 'Digital Culture' continuity, and 4) redundancy in topics like algorithms and artificial intelligence. Addressing these issues will better equip students with essential digital literacy skills.

코로나 19 팬데믹과 4차 산업혁명을 반영하여 2022개정 교육과정에서 디지털 소양 강화와 정보교육의 중요 성이 강조되고 있다. 그러나 초등과 중학교 간의 연계성 부재로 교육과정의 분절성 문제가 도출되었다. 본 연구 에서는 2022개정교육과정에서 정보과의 성취기준을 분석하여 초등학교와 중학교 간의 연계성을 파악하고 이를 통해 계열성을 갖춘 정보과 교육과정 편성에 대한 시사점을 제시하고자 한다. 첫째, 초등학교와 중학교의 정보 과 내용요소가 내용체계표에 함께 드러나지 않는다. 둘째, 초등학교급 실과 교육과정에 정보 교과에 대한 목표 나 역량이 추가될 필요가 있다. 셋째, ‘디지털 문화’ 영역의 계속성 및 계열성이 성립되지 않는다. 넷째, 내용의 반복이 알고리즘과 프로그래밍 영역과 인공지능 영역에 치중되어 있는 편이다. 이러한 연계성 속에서의 문제를 고려하여 2022 개정교육과정을 현장에 적용한다면 디지털 기초 소양을 함양한 학생들을 길러내는데 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.
