Digital competency has become essential for prospective teachers who will be deployed in the field when the 2022 revised curriculum is implemented. There is a need to measure digital competency in teacher training institutions to design a curriculum appropriate for the current level of prospective teachers. ‘SELFIE for TEACHER’, a tool to measure teachers’ digital competency developed by the EU, was translated and basic statistical analysis was conducted on the responses of 82 undergraduate students at Jinju National University of Education. It was confirmed that all pre-service teachers' digital competencies were at the explorer level, except for the 'search and selection' competency in the 'digital resources' area, which was at the integrator level. This study is significant in that it confirms the current level of digital competency of pre-service teachers and can be used as basic data when teacher training institutions design curricula for cultivating digital competency of pre-service teachers.

2022 개정 교육과정이 시행될 시기에 현장에 투입될 예비교사들에게 디지털 역량은 필수가 되었다. 교원 양 성기관에서 예비교사의 현 수준에 맞는 교육과정의 설계를 위해 디지털 역량을 측정할 필요가 있다. EU가 개발 한 교사의 디지털 역량 측정 도구인 ‘SELFIE for TEACHER’을 번역하여 진주교육대학교 학부생 82명의 응답 을 기초 통계 분석하였다. 예비교사의 디지털 역량은 통합가 수준인 ‘디지털 자원’ 영역의 ‘검색 및 선택’ 역량을 제외하고 모두 탐색가 수준임을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 예비교사의 현재 디지털 역량 수준을 확인하였다 는 점, 교사 양성 기관에서 예비교사의 디지털 역량 함양에 대한 교육과정을 설계할 때 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다는 점에서 의의를 갖는다.
