The testimony of child sexual abuse victims serves as crucial evidence in the early stages of investigation. However, numerous studies have reported differences in the content, expression style, and emotional delivery of testimonies depending on the child’s gender. Amid growing digital transformation, AI-based testimony support systems—such as interview chatbots and automated interview platforms—are increasingly being introduced into investigative and counseling settings. Yet, these systems often fail to adequately reflect gender-based differences, highlighting the urgent need for design principles grounded in gender sensitivity. This study analyzes gender-specific differences in testimony styles among child sexual abuse victims through a literature review and proposes gender-sensitive criteria for designing AI-based support systems. In particular, it discusses design principles that take into account male victims' tendencies toward silence and emotional suppression. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the need to develop digital testimony systems that embody gender sensitivity and suggests directions for improving investigative practices in policing. The findings are expected to contribute to enhancing both the ethical foundation and victim-centered approach of AI-based investigative tools.

아동 성 학대 피해자의 진술 과정은 수사 초기 단계에서 핵심적인 증거로 작용하지만, 피해 아동의 성별에 따라 진술 내용, 표현 방식, 감정 전달 방식에 차이가 나타난다는 연구 결과가 다수 보고되고 있다. 한편, 디지털 전환의 흐름 속에서 AI 기반 진술 지원 시스템(예: 인터뷰 챗봇, 자동화 면담 시스템 등)이 수사와 상담 영역에 점차 도입되고 있으나, 이 시스템들이 성별 차이를 충분히 반영하지 못하고 있어 성인지 감수성에 기반한 설계 원칙 마련이 시급하다. 이 연구는 문헌연구를 통해 아동 성 학대 피해자의 진술방식에서 나타나는 성별 차이를 분석하고, 이러한 차이를 AI 기반 피해자 지원 시스템 설계 시 어떻게 반영할 수 있을지에 대한 성인지적 기준을 제시하였다. 특히, 남아 피해자의 침묵 전략과 감정 표현 억제를 고려한 설계 원칙을 중심으로, 성인지 감수성을 갖춘 디지털 진술 시스템의 개발 필요성과 경찰 수사 실무의 개선 방향을 논의하였다. 이 연구는 AI 수사도구의 윤리성과 피해자 중심성을 제고하는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
