The mediating effect of spirituality in the relationship between dysfunctional religiosity and career adaptability among Christian university students

- Research Purpose: This study aims to examine the influence of dysfunctional religiosity on career adaptability among Christian university students, with spirituality as a mediating variable. Research Contents and Methods: To investigate the effect of dysfunctional religiosity on career adaptability and the mediating role of spirituality, the study was conducted as follows. First, an online survey was administered to 208 Christian university students using the Short Form of the Dysfunctional Religiosity Scale, the Korean version of the Spirituality Assessment Scale, and the Career Adaptability Scale. Second, the collected data were analyzed using SPSS 27 to perform descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis to explore the relationships among the measured variables. Third, AMOS 29 was used to conduct a mediation analysis, and the statistical significance of the mediating effect was tested through the bootstrapping method. Conclusion and Suggestions: The results of the study are as follows. First, significant correlations were found among dysfunctional religiosity, spirituality, and career adaptability. Second, a full mediating effect of spirituality was confirmed in the relationship between dysfunctional religiosity and career adaptability among university students. Based on these findings, the study discusses its implications, limitations, and suggestions for future research.

- 연구 목적 : 본 연구는 역기능적 종교성이 영성을 매개로 하여 기독교 대학생의 진로적응성에 미치는 영향력을 검증하고자 한다. 연구 내용 및 방법 : 역기능적 종교성이 대학생의 진로적응성에 미치는 영향과 영성의 매개효과를 검증하기 위한 본 연구의 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기독교 대학생 208명을 대상으로 역기능적 종교성 척도 단축형, 한국어판 영성 평가 척도, 진로적응성 척도를 활용하여 온라인 설문을 실시하였다. 둘째, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 27 프로그램을 활용하여 기술통계, 신뢰도 분석, 상관분석을 통해 측정변수 간 관련성을 분석하였다. 셋째, AMOS 29 프로그램을 사용하여 매개효과 분석을 실시하였으며, 부트스트래핑(Bootstrapping) 방법을 통해 매개효과의 통계적 유의성을 검증하였다. 결론 및 제언 : 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 역기능적 종교성, 영성, 진로적응성 사이의 유의한 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생의 역기능적 종교성과 진로적응성의 관계에서 영성의 완전매개효과가 확인되었다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구가 갖는 시사점과 한계점, 후속 연구방향을 제시하였다.

- 한국에 복음이 들어오고, 교회가 설립된 것은 19세기 말이었다. 해방이 되면서 한국교회는 더욱 발전하게 되었고 그에 따라 기독교교육의 중요성과 필요성도 강조되게 되었다. 그러한 과정에 기독교교육을 전공한 학자들이 귀국함에 따라 그들을 중심으로 한국기독교교육학회를 결성할 필요성을 느껴 설립하게 되었다. 한국기독교교육학회의 설립 목적은 기독교교육학의 이론적 발전과 실천을 위한 연구와 장을 확대해가려는 것이다. 그리고 학자들간의 연구교류와 교제를 위한 장을 마련하기 위하여 본 학회를 1960년에 설립하였다.
