This study aims to empirically analyze the performance of a cooperative growth model and derive policy implications by focusing on cases where parent companies and partner companies jointly built smart factories. To this end, a qualitative case study was conducted on 16 parent companies and 77 partner companies that participated in the large-medium and small-sized win-win smart factory support project. With the help of advanced data-based inventory management and system linkage, the partners were able to reduce delivery times, reduce costs, and improve queality through process improvement as the result of analysis. This study pointed out the limitations of the smart factory support policy centered on a single company and suggested the necessity of institutionalizing a family-type joint construction model. It attempted to theoretically and policy-wise expand the idea that smart factories can serve as the building blocks of a supply chain innovation ecosystem, rather than simply introducing technology.

본 연구는 모기업과 협력사가 공동으로 스마트공장을 구축한 사례를 중심으로, 동반성장형 협력 모델의 성과를 실증적으로 분석하고 그 정책적 함의를 도출하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 대 중소 상생형 스마트공장 지원사업에 참여한 16개 모기업과 77개 협력사를 대상으로 질적 사례연구 를 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 협력사들은 시스템 연계를 통한 납기 단축, 자동화를 통한 원가 절감, 공 정 개선을 통한 품질 향상, 데이터 기반 재고관리 고도화 등의 성과를 실현하였다. 특히 모기업의 전략적 지원과 협력사의 실행력이 결합될 때 성과 수준이 크게 제고되는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 는 단일 기업 중심의 스마트공장 지원 정책이 갖는 한계를 지적하고, 패밀리형 공동 구축 모델을 제 도화할 필요성을 제시하였다. 이를 통해 스마트공장이 단순한 기술도입을 넘어, 공급망 차원의 혁신 생태계 조성 수단으로 기능할 수 있음을 이론적, 정책적으로 확장하고자 하였다.
